### 2/5 — Not the App I hoped for

Sold by Sparklight as the one stop shop for all streaming. Not really …… interface is very unrefined. Hard to get to info about channel listing episodes. Numerous dropouts and lockups. Constant buffering and network errors even with Gig internet service. After having their cable service for years, it’s quite a letdown in service….. and still extremely expensive. Do better Sparklight.

The app all of a sudden just stopped working and did not want to load. Spent over an hour with tech-support both on the phone and online chat with no help at all. I will be reviewing other TV options in my area.

Tried several times to log in via the app on the tv and it said my password was incorrect. I tried on my phone (same password) and it logged me in the first try.

I was a bit concerned about making the move to the Sparklight TV streaming solution given the reviews on the iPhone app.  But after getting 3 TVs setup and working, the firetvsticks and remotes are working better than I expected.  I am not using the iPhone app as my primary TV/streaming controller- using the firetvstick remotes for that (as that is how the system is designed).

This Sparklight app constantly loses synch requiring us to change channels and select “Go Live”, or sometimes exiting the app altogether. This happens way too often, several times each day (“Beep-Boop-Beep-Boop” is so annoying!)! When first starting the app we often need to wait 5 to 10 minutes for the channel lineup to refresh as well.

This happens on each AppleTV with Sparklight (we have three in our house). And it’s Not network related. Our network connection is strong at all TVs, and all of our other app (I.e., Max, Prime Video, Netflix, …) function just fine. 

This clearly is a case of a half-baked app.

Sparklight - take the time to FIX your App!!! Know that I do have options - I.e., Hulu, YouTube, etc., and they all are becoming more interesting each day your app behaves poorly!

Works ok, but only in the house within range of the modern. Your out of luck if you are away from home with time to kill and want to watch a tv program. I have televisions to watch at home, if the modem drops both are out.

The app is terrible and you can no longer stream any continent, recorded or live from your mobile device. I will be switching to spectrum as a result.

I have been trying this service for about 14 months. Sparklight Streaming is inconsistent on my TVs, iPad and IPhone .I constantly receive connection error messages to include “must be in the home to watch this” but my internet is not the problem. All my other apps operate, just fine without any interruptions. Moving on to a better and more reliable option:
