Strange things are happening at Aunt Dottie’s house and it is up to the child to solve it! By doing this, the target audience (children aged 6-8) learn about many important key fire safety lessons that are beneficial to everyday life. Firstly, the child can select to read the story or play the game. By reading the story the user learns about crucial aspects of fire safety such as the significance of smoke alarms and what to do when the smoke alarm sounds. This is done through the inclusion of guided questions that encourage the child and the parents to discuss the story. Additionally there’s an enthusiastic narration that comes with each page to improve literacy and comprehension skills.
