## What is Sparta Meditation?

App that supports and guides you a specific meditation technique called Sparta Meditation.  The technique is taught at several veteran programs geared at helping veterans through the transition into civilian life and assist in controlling PTS.

Just as the Navaho warriors fresh from the battle would go to the hidden canyon to chant and meditate around the fire, just as the Viking sought time in the smoking hut to cleanse his soul, warriors throughout time have found that they MUST transition from the fight before reclaiming their place among family and community.

Many have their combat, their battle that leaves a wound that can not be seen.  It can impact a person in a negative way. This app and the regular practice of meditation is about healing those wounds.

Several veteran and first responder programs use this technique. One of them, The Sparta Project, attempts to replicate the thoughtful transition that the Navaho and Vikings knew was so critical to the warrior.
