Some property info is also 4 to 5 years old ### 1/5 — Trial is worthless. *2025-10-11, version 1.17.40* I was very interested in this app. Did the trial and it is just Google maps. I wish I could see some of the promising features but all are restricted. ### 1/5 — A Midwest App (From SC) *2025-09-11* First, there is no free trial. You have to commit to paying for a month to get the 'first two weeks free' which is not well explained. I thought I'd be able to test it out before I was billed. No dice, here I am paying for an app I decided don't want in the first hour of the 'trial'. Secondly, UAV satellite imagery is the single largest stand out feature to distinguish this app from the two main industry apps (onx, gohunt). The problem is that very little of my state (SC) is photographed. In fact I'd argue almost no useful portion of my state is photographed. All the UAV images are in the Midwest. Virtually none of the west is photographed, where I go to hunt. The three major sections of the state with significant public land are on normal satellite. You get some stuff around GVL, CHSTN, COL, and down interstate 26. Even my private land access throughout the state is not on UAV. I get it, not their data, but combine that with the trick for a month subscription and I'm sorry I bothered at all with this app. If the UAV had been there for all of SC and surrounding states it would have covered for the mugging of the month subscription and I would have kept the app permanently as an additional tool to the ones I've mentioned. Instead, I'll warn my friends to steer clear. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-04-13, version 1.16.21* Paid app free download. Can’t use it without paid subscription ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-04-10, version 1.16.21* Paid 59.99 for the subscription logged in once haven’t been able to log in since. Customer service doesn’t respond to assist with the issue. ### 1/5 — Rip off *2025-03-14* I had used a trial of the app back when it first came out but never subscribed. I re-downloaded the app just recently because they have added several things and I wanted to see if it was better. Well, it gave me the option for another trial so I signed up. After getting in (because it won’t let you even preview the app without a subscription), I noticed it had charged me. I contacted Apple to cancel it right then. I mean only minutes since I had signed up. They wouldn’t do it. Their maps aren’t good at all. The topos are terrible and most places I hunt doesn’t show winter aerials. Terrible app. I see another review says something similar and Spartan Forge replied that they were working on a free version. That was 2 years ago. Make sure you want the app because they’ll take your money before you can even preview new updated features. And I had to write a review. It’s a one stop shop! All the information you get when you click on intel, the forecasts, historical wind data, weather. Information about your state harvests, the soft mass and hard mass browse. You can tell they’ve actually took time to create this for a hunter! I’ve used OnX for years. If you’ve been thinking about switching go ahead, great app! Highly recommend. So many more great features on here! ### 5/5 — Best Hunting/ Mapping App *2026-07-22, version 1.18.26* I’ve used every app ever created when it comes to hunting/ mapping featured apps. Sparton Forge is hands down the best. The deer data driven AI prediction model is insanely accurate which certainly aids in patterning whitetails. The weather predictions are the most accurate I’ve seen. The user interface is easy to navigate. The app having built in Info such as rating dates and hunter harvest numbers can be pretty helpful.
