## What is SPC Care?

SPC Care is a pioneering application for remotely helping and caring for older people and those less familiar with technology. This exclusive SPC technology allows family and friends to remotely and at any time lend a hand to older relatives who choose easy-to-use SPC mobiles without internet access to communicate with loved ones.

The main advantage of SPC Care is that it acts as a "remote control" that allows you to make remote adjustments on your loved one's phone (said phone must be compatible with the app). SPC Care also acts as a location device, as it offers up the precise device location without the elderly person having to do anything special on their end – they just have to carry their SPC mobile with them.

Using it is extremely easy: after downloading and running the app for the first time, you will be prompted with the steps to follow to help you link up with compatible mobile phones. Once the process is complete (it only takes 5 minutes), a caregiver can, from their smartphone and depending on the linked model…

- Help the elderly person to configure their SPC mobile. Device settings can be accessed at any time and changes can be made, like raising or lowering the call volume, activating or deactivating the SOS button, managing the contacts associated with said emergency button, increasing the brightness of the screen, adding contacts to the address book, rearranging app icons, configuring one-touch quick dials, and more.
- Know where the elderly person is. SPC Care allows you to see the device's location accurately without the senior having to do anything to send their location (depends on the mobile model).
- Ensure their safety. SPC Care shows if there are missed calls and unread messages and sends alerts if something goes wrong. For example, alerts are sent if prolonged inactivity is detected or if the battery is close to running out.
- Keep track of their health. Save upcoming medical appointments to easily remember check-ups and visits with specialists, record the name of medications taken, and check the number of steps taken per day (depends on the mobile model).
- Share responsibility with other caregivers. Collaborative care is possible, giving you the peace of mind that there will always be someone available to help and allowing responsibility to be shared.

- This app allows you to help more than one person as long as they all have a compatible SPC mobile phone.

Estoy encantadísima con este móvil SPC. Me está resultando súper útil, sobre todo porque desde mi propio dispositivo puedo gestionar las llamadas indeseadas y así evitar posibles estafas a mi padre. La función de bloqueo y control de llamadas funciona de maravilla, es rápida y muy fácil de usar.
La verdad es que el teléfono cumple perfectamente con lo que necesito y me da muchísima tranquilidad en el día a día. Muy recomendable.

Cuando intento crear una persona cuidada, relleno los datos, hago click en “crear persona cuidada” y no se añade a ningún sitio, me es imposible vincular el teléfono a cuidar. Estoy en iOS 26. Espero que consigáis solucionarlo, cuando llegue el fix actualizaré esta respuesta ;)

Bastante completa pero se hecha de menos que la localización por gps no sea en tiempo real. Con otros sistemas, que no hemos podido dejar de utilizar, podemos salir al encuentro de mi familiar con la enfermedad de alzheimer y seguir cada paso que da. Con este dispositivo no lo podemos seguir en tiempo real y ver por donde va andando. Espero y deseo que sea solucionable. Sería entonces el aparato perfecto!!!, gracias

Funciona muy bien para tener localizado a mi padre. Además puedo bloquearle llamadas y cambiar algunos parámetros de configuración, que es algo que él no sabe hacer.

Acabo de comprar el teléfono a mi madre, un SPC polaris. Ha sido marcharme a mi casa y en cuestión de un par de horas la aplicación ya no conecta con el teléfono. Señores no sé qué pensaréis pero en mi caso, hemos perdido a mi padre y esta era una ocasión genial de saber dónde está mi madre y esto es una pifia. Como desarrollador que soy a mí esto me daría una vergüenza tenerlo en el App Store. Además de perder conectividad y si el teléfono se queda sin batería, se pierde toda la agenda de teléfonos. Después de varios meses de uso  el sistema no funciona como tendría que ir con personas mayores por en medio.
Tengo dos personas a mi cargo y una siempre está desconectada, reinicio el teléfono y se conecta pero a los dos días otra vez. En mi caso no le puedo decir a la persona mayor que reinicie el teléfono, se descentra por todo y le causa ansiedad 
La otra persona el sistema funciona pero al teléfono le ha salido una raya horizontal negra, y eso que nos lo cambiaron por que no se podía conectar de ninguna manera.
En resumen es una buenísima idea pero el sistema que hace funcionar todo no está a la altura
