Speak brings typed words and sentences to life using your iPhone, iPod or iPad!

It uses no generative AI and if you are a person like me who wants to make a voice but also refrain from using our very limited clean water supply this is the app to use. You may now be thinking “there is no getting better than this”. That is where you’re wrong because there is a giant variety of voices to choose from like a robot or to a sweet grandma. You can also edit the voices by pitch and speed. It also has almost all of those analog horror voices.

Speak is a great app it helps you become fluent on any language you are passionate about, for example me and my dad have struggled learning Spanish so we tried using Duolingo but it didn’t really work so we gave Speak a chance and it helped us out so much. Thank you speak for helping me learn Spanish and for the growth you have gave me!!

Before I was using Google Translate to make it read my text out loud when I need to check how something sound in english. It was working but you have to be online and sometimes the page reload and you loose what you typed. This app is more simple for that, I just type and it talks, no internet needed which is nice. The voice quality is about same level honestly, maybe little bit better because you can change the speed. One thing that bother me is some buttons are really small and I miss them on first tap.. my fingers are not tiny lol. Also after I leave the app and come back it goes to the main screen again not where I was. Is ok overall for what I need it to do, just wish those small things was fixed
