I think is great! I have no idea which activity out of the 30odd to pick everyday. There is zero help or guidance. Too many options and just overwhelming. This app literally spells you everything and shows how you do it. Make no mistake you will learn way less if you have an “one hour all incuided” type of bs… For what you pay its really really good. The personalised advice via the chat function is incredible. I’m finding the advice given even better than what I have received speech therapy. I would definitely recommend. The developer has really thought this through, there is so much helpful content, presented in a staged manner according to your child’s development. I really think this will help our child with the receptive and expressive vocabulary. Must try ! ### 5/5 — Better than SaLT team *2023-01-27, version 2.0* I use this with my son who is 3, he’s actively getting speech and language therapy for a moderate speech delay. I started using this just as we started the therapy after trying loads of things to help his language development - we don’t get access to this app through our SaLT team so I pay out of pocket. I’ve found this app to be so much more useful that our SaLT therapist. Highly recommend for any other speech delay families, this and DHA supplements (and an awesome nursery) have made the biggest differences for my boy! ### 5/5 — Data Driven Research Based App *2022-12-24, version 2.0* I am so impressed with this speech app! You can track your child’s words, phrases, and the app even helps to track the level and skills that your child is working on! After figuring out your child’s needs based on parent analysis, there are daily tasks you can do with your kids and the app also links to your Google calendar for a reminder! Resources are given to educate the parent, along with suggested activities for play. Seasonal activities are also offered! There is a chat available within the app that directs you to an SLP. I highly recommend giving it a try! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Do Not Try Free Trial! *2025-03-03, version 3.0* I canceled the free-trial with plenty of time and requested they do not charge me for the yearly trial, and they charged me over $200! I tried their “chat” to resolve it, and no one is available!! Nobody to talk to, and no one has responded to my emails. An absolutely scam and waste of money. Now, I have to dispute the charge with my bank and wait two weeks for a refund! This is absolutely terrible, and I would NEVER recommend this app to anybody. The app provide excellent advice and activity ideas for SLPs and parents for different ages and stages of development. It also provides a variety of interactive and engaging activities and exercises for parents to use at home with their children. SpeakEasy provides video demonstrations as well as clear explanations on how to articulate sounds correctly.
