I was expecting the list of, for example, adjectives to describe people or feelings but there is none. We met up with Italian work colleague and she said they never use these phases in conversation. If anything some phases/ ways to say things died out years ago and are considered old fashioned.... Learnt some of the words/phrases and attempted to use them while working in Rome. Kept getting confused looks from Italian people. Showed it to someone that understood English, turns out a few of the phrases are completely inappropriate with words either wrong way around or grammatically incorrect. Paid £1.49 for this. Shocking. The Jewel speed payback is a really useful facility. The categorization of words and phrases helps to locate one’s thinking prior to attempting reading writing speaking Italian.
