It probably sat there for a few minutes fully submerged. I immediately took it out and dried it but the audio quality of calls was screwed up. I’ve never broken a phone before but was ready to fill my first insurance claim ever to replace it. I downloaded the app and after a couple runs, the phone went back to normal. So I just said fine. I’ll try it because I have school the next day and I just needed to make sure the water was out of my phone that way I could bring it to school and not make it rest on my kitchen island for a few days.
