First step - connect IOS phone to bluetooth… check.  2nd step, press play left speaker … check… sound comes out of phone.  I tried other apps while doing this (eg youtube) and they were “bluetoothing” just fine.

Withour connecting, this appnis just worthless

doesn’t seem to work with bluetooth speakers.

**Developer response:** Hello. As indicated in description, it does not support AirPlay indeed. This might not be clear enough, so I will add in next version: does NOT support bluetooth.

You have to connect to your stereo system with a cable. Does not work with Bluetooth .

**Developer response:** Indeed, as indicated in the description, a wired connection is required.  Thus it will not work with bluetooth.

I bought the app in a bundle, it works ok but it shows an anoying quantity of ads (they are not suppose to be there at all in an payed app. What am I missing?). This must be a mistake or a scam.

**Developer response:** This is solved in version 4.0: no ads anymore for those who have installed SPLnFFT on their device (SPLnFFT is part of the bundle).

It gives a nice graph of output levels at various frequencies (ostensibly) as a result of the white noise generated from the program.  Should also chart the noise floor to guage the relevance of the resulting graph, because the same speaker test in a different environment yields different results that may not be correlated with any sound the speaker is generating.

Wanted to get a ballpark for equalizer settings, and this gave me just that. The bar graph presentation shows the limit of what it’s capturing which is nice to know actually, but a smoothed option would be nice to see. I have to wonder about the differences between iPhone mics and if there is sufficient compensation. I have a first gen iPhone SE, for example but the I for panel says “iPhone 8,4” which isn’t encouraging. But still, it got me a ballpark measurement so I’m happy.

I'm not sure if the iPhone mic is really accurate enough to really use to calibrate against, but this app does seem to do fairly well at finding room modes.
