I’ve used this app for years with no problems, however, I need to know how far over my time I’ve gone. I could always increase the time, but then I will just use that time as well. Couldn't get it to do anything but count down from 18 minutes. Allows only one preset and you can't change it. No instructions. It is not user friendly & has limited functions even after the upgrade that I paid for. Forget the update. Anyway, I bowed to the pressure of paying the $.99 for the 5 settings, partly because I thought that would be a great thing to have, and partly because I like to pay for useful software. However, I have found one area with the settings that annoys the heck out of me and has made me not use this app any more. It's the fact that ll my 5 presets resets to the TED time of 18 minutes between uses. In other words, if I spend the time setting up specific times, they are gone next time if I quit the app. Very annoying, and counter intuitive. ### 4/5 — Great app! *2012-04-14, version 1.1.2* Really good app for keeping presentations on time. A settings menu would be helpful. But overall very nice app. ### 1/5 — Complete waste of money *2012-03-10* I purchased the app AND the in-app expansion. The app launches but when I try to configure it by clicking on the I button it crashes! I have tried restarting the iPhone and uninstalling then reinstalling the app but no improvement. On the app support link there is no way to contact the developer. I will be asking for a full refund. If you are tempted to buy this app, DON'T! ### 1/5 — NOT GOOD *2012-02-23, version 1.1.1* Application not good. First negative thing is that it constantly asked you if you want to upgrade to more presets and there is no way of shutting the annoying message off unless you pay your $.99 additional. To me that is a very strong arm tactic that I hate. There is also no time shown negatively so when the clock hits zero you don't know how much beyond zero you have gone. It also does not have any sound warnings. When you hit help but it crashes Total waste of money twice since I had to purchase more presets to get ride of annoying strong arm messages PCLOCK is a far better application it has sound and numerals change color at various presets. It also displays negative time as well. There is no "help" section for the site. There is no direction on how to start the noted time of 18 mins. I regret that this seems to be a fraudulent app. ### 1/5 — DO NOT GET THIS APP *2022-10-11, version 1.3.1* They will try and rip you off they advertise things for a charge of 4.99 and then have additonal charges to open the features after initial sale. I bought timer and upgrade for presets, it is not useable with touch problem. I tap the screen 1 to 30 times for it to respond. New ipad, this is the only app I have ever used that has touch problem. Love this App! To get a true speaker timer app to output a speaker clock feed over HDMI to SDI into a show monitor for your speakers on stage and have it on any monitor size of your choice is worth over $100 (what you would pay to rent a speaker timer). The app is easy to use. Swipe the mouse to set your desired time. Click and hold on your preset to store it and be able to refresh at will. And simply click to start. Basic app but love to use it on shows and the speakers on stage love it too because it keeps them on time ;-) ### 5/5 — As a pro speaker I use this all the time... *2018-11-29, version 1.1.4* It's a great app and so simple to use. I give lots of presentations and this is the most ingenious and wonderful device ever. It helps you avoid the problem of having the person in the back of the room holding up signs that say “five minutes”. This one is clean, simple, inexpensive and has been my timer of choice for several years. I've recently taken a Dale Carnegie course and have found that this is the perfect app for writing and honing multiple speeches of any length with a fully adjustable warning "light".
