## What is Speakers?

Speakers is a plugin effect designed to emulate a wide range of loudspeakers and microphones using our state-of-the-art convolution engine.
Shape any sound like it’s being played by an old telephone, radio, or classic cabinet; or shape it like it’s being recorded by a vintage ribbon microphone or even a toy recorder.
Speakers features a freely configurable effects chain, comprising compression, distortion, and filtering, as well as an array of looping background noises for setting the sound in a variety of environments. Available as AUv3 and Standalone.

Anfangs wollte ich die App nur für Klangeffekte einsetzen, und dann landete sie bei mir im Bass Channel, wo sie mit Kompression, Sättigung und Anordnung des Mikrofons nach dem Speaker eine hervorragende Figur macht. Noch ein Chorus davor, und fertig ist der sehr geschmackvolle Bass Sound. So cool hatte ich‘s mir gar nicht vorgestellt.

There’s a lot of potential for sound mangling with this app, via the settings for each ‘device’, which goes beyond a simply mimicking mic and speaker combo’s. Lot’s of fun to be had. 

However, it’s impossible to adjust the EQ ‘Q’ points, as you can in the desktop version, so one star deducted for this limitation.

wait to try more of there plugins tbh no other 

auv3 plugin I searched for has a tv effect can’t

Many of the sounds on offer here could be duplicated by other apps, albeit with much fiddling about. But why bother when you can have so much of such nice quality collected handily in this app. Speakers is a delight to play around with, and used subtly - less is more - can add to your mix in very pleasing ways. Going OTT will result in a horrible mess. But Speakers controls are so intuitive and easy to understand, it’s easy to dial up the required effect. Recommended.
