What's New in Specialty Atlas

1.1

August 11, 2026

1.1 - events, stamps and the map EVENTS - Cafes and roasteries can now add discounts for attendees. Look for the badge on the map and on event cards. The new "Deals" filter shows only events with a discount. - Approved sign-ups. Organisers can review requests, and when an event fills up you can join the waitlist. If someone drops out, you get in automatically and we let you know. - Redesigned event card: bigger photo, price, spots left, recurrence, co-hosts and the roasteries whose beans you'll be cupping. - Reminders for events you signed up for finally arrive on time. PASSPORT - Every new stamp comes with a collectible card you can share to your Story. Don't want the celebration every time? One toggle in Preferences turns it off. MAP AND CAFES - Cafes under renovation or on holiday now show "Temporarily closed" instead of the misleading "Closed". - "Suggest an edit" on a cafe profile now also lets you flag a place as temporarily closed. - Venues without a confirmed address no longer show up in random spots on the map. - The cafe rating form is simpler now. A small step towards what we're preparing for version 2.0. QR CHECK-IN - The poster code in a cafe now works even if the person scanning it doesn't have the app yet. It takes them straight to the store. FIXES - No more being logged out unexpectedly. - Hundreds of translation fixes across all 16 languages. - Better pin clustering on the map. As always, we fixed bugs you reported. Write to us using the contact button at the top of the Hub tab.
