## What is Speco Gray?

Introducing the Gray Series of IP surveillance kits. A new kit that combines IP cameras that easily plug into the Gray Series recorder.

The iOS Speco Gray allows one to view live and recorded video, as well as take snapshots and recordings of what is being seen.

Multiple layout options are available as well as an option to view low or high resolution video.

Alarm notifications are also available so the user can always be notified of motion events.

This app and equipment has never let me down, and works absolutely amazingly. I don’t have a higher end model either. I believe the trick is more in how you setup the network (mine is a vpn direct connection). It’s actually amazing and the app is great. I don’t know if they’ve updated since the other reviews I’ve seen but I couldn’t disagree with them more.

Terrible,ablosulety terrible.We have a regular old cameras at our house that go with older app and I hate that app.Now my camera guy convinced me to install newer cameras on Speco Gray by selling me that this app is much better so I went for it,what a mistake.This app is better than the old one but is terrible anyways.It takes forever for the image to show up,it keeps circling trying to connect,and no it has nothing to do with the network,no matter where you are or how strong you signal is it does the same thing.Even when you double tap to switch from camera to camera,it’s circling,so annoying.I also noticed that it skips recording.I was replaying particular time in particular place and one camera had the incident recorder (from the worst angle) and another one did not but was pointing at the same spot.How come motion in that stop was not recorded,it skipped? My older surveillance system didn’t have that problem and I really lived my other iVMS-4500 app .

Guess you need to upgrade to a NVR that uses the ‘blue’ app to use a domain name.  The older version worked great. Still curious why it tries to connect to Baidu when opened.

By far my favorite Speco system. App is super user friendly and the DVR is such an unbelievable piece of technology with its capabilities. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, those people just need to learn how to use the app and system.

Cameras are very good but this app makes the product useless!!! I am away from home and can’t monitor my house.  Yes, I may have good video after something is stolen or destroyed but I want to be able to monitor live-  DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF POOP PRODUCT- I regret it!!

My system and app were working great.
Evidently, after an update, the system disconnects or won’t connect. Freezes and won’t stream then disconnects. I see others are having the same problems as I am having.
Please take it back to where it was before.
