## What is Spectacular NWT?

This App gives users access to the Northwest Territories Explorers’ Guide 2020 and future NWT Tourism materials, brought to life via Augmented Reality (AR). Experience the natural wonders, awe-inspiring attractions and abounding adventures in Canada’s North on your mobile device. 

Stand at the edge of roaring Virginia Falls, peering down at the torrent of water that plummets from twice the height of Niagara. Marvel at the shimmering Northern Lights, doing their mystical cosmic dance all around you. Learn about the ways the land inspires Indigenous master artisans. And keep an eye out for caribou that jumps off the page.

This App provides an interactive guide to the Northwest Territories, loaded with information about where to go and how to get there. Users will learn the best spots to spy muskoxen and bison. They’ll discover where to paddle the world’s wildest rivers. And a wealth of interactive maps highlights all the stops you need to make on epic, once-in-a-lifetime road trips to the Arctic Ocean.
