I asked for a refund but they only refunded me partially. I’m still owed 6 dollars because I had bought the initial subscription and the premium version (because for whatever reason the premium one you can buy more than one ticket and we were two) after contacting them they instead started lying about me creating a scene at the restaurant which isn’t true and deleted my initial review **Developer response:** You first left a review accusing us of scamming. When we called you out for defamation, you changed your lie. You covered up your first lie and now claim it's a refund issue and that we "deleted" your review. We can't do that. We also give out free spectra passes every day. Not sure what you're trying to achieve with these lies. Never use our app again, thanks. ### 1/5 — I went to a restaurant owner didnt have a clue what spectra was *2026-06-01* I don’t recommend. We embarassed ourselves ### 1/5 — Codes don’t work *2025-11-21* SMS rate limited exceeded error on app after downloading it for the first time **Developer response:** We were under a coordinated SMS spam attack so had to limit them. Feel free to reach out to us if you still have the issue. ### 1/5 — Not functional *2025-10-09* The app opens up on a white screen with the logo centered. I've waited minutes for anything to load, nothing. I've restarted the app countless times, nothing. Work on your UI **Developer response:** You used the very first version of our app. The issue should long be cleared. If you need help with anything let us know. ### 1/5 — Horrible for service industry *2025-10-03* People who use this are weird and never tip, they are demanding and don’t understand service industry. The people who run the spectra events are incredibly rude and act as if they own the restaurants they go to plus most of the time they haven’t properly discussed discounts with the owners and some people pay full price while others don’t just so unorganized and sad. **Developer response:** You joined our event with the intention of recruiting people to join your own events (mtlhive). You were rude to restaurant staff during the event, for not giving you a discount because you didn't present a ticket. And then you didn't tip after being told you needed a ticket. When we defended the restaurant, you went on social media to get your friends to bomb our reviews, and then admitted your intentions to us by text. Ironic of you to say that people don't tip, that people are weird, and that spectra is rude, when in fact you're the one who didn't tip and you're accusing our users of being the person that you are. ### 3/5 — Needs improvement *2025-12-05* Sold out restaurants are occurring more often now, and continue to appear in the default list of results. They should be hidden or the restaurants will post minimal available codes and use the app for free advertising. Lacks function to sort restaurants by date added, filter by “currently open” rather than “open today” ### 5/5 — Can’t imagine going back to eating out without spectra *2026-08-01* Genuinely worry about not having this app anymore.
