How accurately do you actually see color? Spectra shows you a color, takes it away, and asks you to rebuild it from memory on three sliders. Your answer is scored against the original with CIEDE2000, the color difference formula used in print and manufacturing, so "close enough" stops working as the levels climb. KING'S EYE The endless mode. One color at a time, no clock on your answer, and a streak that counts every color you got right in a row. The minimum score climbs with the streak: 5.5 out of 10 for your first five colors, 9.2 once you pass 70. Miss once and a short video buys you one retry. Miss again and the streak resets to zero. Your rank comes from the best streak you have ever reached. Five gets you Knight, 16 makes you a Baron, and King starts at 71. The global leaderboard ranks by longest streak, so one clean run beats hours of grinding. FOUR MORE GAMES, 150 LEVELS EACH Odd One Out. One tile in the grid sits at a slightly different shade. Find it before the timer ends. The grid grows from 4x4 to 6x6 while the time you get per tile keeps shrinking. Color Sequence. Colors flash in order, then you tap them back in that order. The sequence runs longer and the palette gets more crowded. Warm or Cool. Look at a color, then at the next one, and decide whether it is warmer or cooler. The hue shift between the two narrows to a few degrees. Find the Original. Memorize a color, then pick it out of a grid of near identical neighbors. The grid goes from eight options to twelve. Every level is fixed. Level 84 is the same puzzle for you as for everyone else, today and next month, so a level you cleared stays cleared. The first fifty are chapter one, and finishing it opens the next fifty. FREE TO PLAY Nothing is locked behind a paywall. Free play is funded by one full-screen ad after every eighth level you clear, plus the optional video on the King's Eye retry. The one-time Pro purchase removes both for good and makes the retry free and unlimited. There is no subscription. You do not need an account or an email address. All five games are unlocked from the start, and the paid unlock is gone. KING'S EYE IS AN ENDLESS RUN The old six-color round is gone. You now get one color at a time with no clock on your answer, and a streak that counts every color you get right in a row. The score you have to hit climbs as the streak grows. Miss once and a short video gives you a single retry. Ranks run from Squire to King based on your best streak, and the leaderboard now ranks by longest streak instead of accumulated points. THREE TIMES THE LEVELS Every one of the four level games grew from 50 levels to 150, split into three chapters. Levels 51 and up escalate on grid size, option count and timing rather than on ever smaller color differences, because the color steps were already at the limit of what an eye can resolve at level 50. Levels are now fixed. Level 84 gives you the same puzzle every time, so replaying one is a fair retry instead of a reroll. FEWER ADS, AND A WAY TO REMOVE THEM The full-screen ad now appears after every eighth level cleared instead of every fifth, and it no longer counts wrong answers toward that rhythm. Buying Pro takes effect right away rather than at the next launch, and it removes every ad permanently. FIXED Losing a level now retries that level instead of sending you back to level 1. King's Eye runs after the first one were not being saved. Two games congratulated you with "Wrong Tile!" after a win. Find the Original could fail to build a level at high difficulty. Color Sequence got easier when it should have got harder. The level list now opens at your current chapter instead of at the top of chapter one. Opening a game no longer waits on the network, so startup is much faster. New light theme throughout, including the launch screen. REMOVED Daily Challenge and multiplayer are gone. Both had low use and neither fit the endless streak the game is built around now. ### 1.0.3 — 2026-07-29 Spectra is now free. All four color games are unlocked, with nothing to buy. King's Eye An endless mode. You see a color, memorize it, then mix it back using three sliders. There's no timer. Get close enough and your streak grows. One miss ends the run. 150 levels The four level-based games now run across three chapters of 50 levels each. Past level 51 the challenge changes shape: grids grow to 6x6, more color options crowd the screen, and you get less time per tile. Leaderboard Ranked by your longest streak in King's Eye. New look Lighter interface, calmer colors. Playing without ads The app is funded by ads.
