Lights are detected but I now get a connection time out error when trying to select them. On top of this, settings aren’t remembered when power is turned off, so can’t use a ‘Wi-Fi’ plug to set own timer/use as Wi-Fi lights. Lights are great - just most features are pointless as can’t use them effectively! What is the point ? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Timers do not work. *2023-12-12, version 1.2.8* The lights I purchased use this app. A major selling point is the ability to control them from my phone. This is useless if the timer won’t work. If I attempt to use them the clock defaults to current time on off or 0:00 on off. It never remembers the timers. But turning off the lights at the switch deletes all other settings. I have wasted my money. Avoid ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2022-12-24, version 1.2.8* Lights don’t connect to the app. App searches for the lights but fails every time. Running iPhone 13 on latest software and app up to date. These lights sill be getting returned. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t sync to music library *2022-12-03, version 1.2.8* So you pay money for NOMA and the app is supposed to sync to your music library well it doesn’t sync to Apple Music so the app is a load of rubbish. ### 1/5 — Update stopped lights connecting *2022-01-21, version 1.2.8* After the most recent update my lights stopped working. They are detected via Bluetooth but the app will not connect. Since updating the software it’s changed. App finds the lights but times out before connecting. It’s also very disappointing that the music is only supported by using Apple. The app can no longer connect to the lights so once they’ve been unplugged and forgotten the mode and timer settings they can’t be reset. The default modes appear to be various speeds of plain white flashing. Unless this is fixed by the time lights go on sale for next Christmas these are going in the bin. It can find my lights but cannot connect. “Connection timed out”. Tried deleting and reinstalling app. Unplugged lights and reconnected. Nothing works. It did take a little playing and understanding that you need to allow it access to certain sections of your phone but works great.... music mode defiantly works better with higher tempos and strong beats :) ### 4/5 — App not working - update *2022-01-05, version 1.2.8* Since the last update it no longer connects to the lights and just times out. I am now unable to change them so what is the point!! Please fix this asap, this is the worst time for this to happen! **UPDATE** The recent update has fixed the issues and it is now working again. However the timer settings are very poor. You have to guess the time you want the lights on and off. As the time does not appear on the timer settings screen. Only when you press ok.
