After the new ios26.2 update all of the voices have changed and I can no longer listen to the voice that I used to - Nicole. It’s extremely annoying because I got used to that voice and all of the others sound too fake or the tone sounds wrong. If there’s any fix I’d love to know it

2026: After the Apple software update of ios26.2 and the Apple being the most rest update the voices changed and the voice that I used to listen to disappeared. I believed the voice was ‘Aaron - English’ looking at the high definition and standard versions the name wasn’t there, which I was disappointed with. When trying the 3 day free trial version, there wasn’t any voice option that I liked so I don’t think I would use the paid version after the trail ends.😓

I have used this app for a year, so and I have never experienced this issue till today. When I listen to the text I had pasted and fast forward a few times it just stops speaking, I had to restart the app in order for it continue the reading 🥲.
The issue still persisted even though the app is in the most recent update and my device is in the most recent update.

When I’m listening in English every now and then it’ll switch to another language and voice then when I switch it back it’ll be another voice as well so I have to change language and voice which makes me lose time

The app has worked well for me over the years.. of course it would crash and minor bugs here and there but still very useful. Just recently tho, it completely stopped functioning through safari for me. Any website I tried to save through the shortcut just wouldn’t come up.

As much as I love this app I wish it would stop skipping sentence and paragraphs sometime and I does not feel reliable to use for something important. The skipping ruins the experience.

If you paused one to many times while listening to a file in the background it’ll just won’t work anymore. You’ll have to listen to the file with the app open or delete the tab and reopen the app. Until you paused one to many times. This is really annoying because I pause all the time while listening to files.

I have been using this app for years now but lately it won’t finish reading the whole sentence and skip over to the next paragraph. It would also stop speaking and kick you out the app and move the time back.The app would also be a lot easier to use if they had accounts so when you delete or change phones you can get your data back.Other than those things it a great app

The only issue I have with this app is that when I’m listening to a book it will sometimes close my book out and I lose my placement repeatedly so I was just wondering if their was something I could do to fix that if it possible because it’s very frustrating and irritating.

I downloaded this while looking for an app that can read ebooks out loud. This said it could go it so I thought I’d give it a try. But you can’t try anything. Everything seem to force you to a sign up for their air apps subscription. I don’t mind paying for an app if it does what I need, but this won’t even let you try out any of the features. Just another scammer looking to make a quick buck.

You need an subscription for full access to HD voices. They want $6:49/week, which is too much to ask for a text to speech app in my opinion. Maybe if it was just one payment, I’d reconsider. Other than that I think this app is really helpful, it has some cool features even without subscribing.

SOOO BAD DO NOT USE THIS APP!! So glitchy can’t even get it to read my speeches asks you to buy premium every second, sooo bad. Use speachify instead sooo much better. Horrible app

I have premium, and here are sone of my typical experiences:  The pages are jumbled up and out of order; the bot reads html rather than text; pages disappear and, where there should be the converted page, there will instead be a little photo of the page I had taken; it suddenly stops allowing me to highlight.  I’m not exaggerating when I say that the majority of the times I try to use Speechify, I encounter problems which make it pointless to continue using at that time.  I typically just resort to reading the textbook.  I’m looking for another text.  Trying to use Speechify has really been a very frustrating experience for me.

So disappointed with this app, a full years payment went out before the 3 day trial ended, there was no way to reverse it, I was ignored when I sent a message about this happening, and I wouldn’t have chosen to stay after the trial, ive now had it months and never use this app, as I don’t find it reads anything all that well, would not recommend 👎🏼

My English voice had an accent. This is not a racist/xenophobic angle I am taking as I am not a native speaker. English is my second language. However, the strange Eastern European-like accent the English setting has is almost incomprehensible and made the experience absolutely unenjoyable (this is not an attack on Eastern European people or their accented English). If I fluently speak English and I am able to identify this, I cannot imagine how much worse the rest of the languages are. App needs work and is definitely not worth the subscription.

Es ist echt blöd, weil Mann premium brauch um überhaupt was zu machen. Mann kann ohne premium nur selber ein Text schreiben, und um den Text diktieren zu lassen braucht man auch premium also kann man nichts tun außer was zu schreiben.
