## What is Speech Assistant?

Speech Assistant is an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app for individuals with speech difficulties. Communicate using a fully customizable phrase board — controlled by touch, or entirely hands-free with your face.

Head Tracking — Hands-Free Control
Use your iPhone's front camera to control the app with head movements alone. No touch required. A smooth on-screen cursor follows your gaze and activates any phrase tile after a brief dwell — enabling fully independent communication for users with limited or no hand mobility.

Communicate Instantly
Tap — or dwell — on any phrase tile to speak it aloud using high-quality text-to-speech or your own recorded voice.

Organize with Categories
Group phrases into categories for quick access. Reorder, hide, or customize each category with icons and layout options.

Custom Symbols & Images
Attach your own photos or images to phrase tiles for visual communication support.

Personal Voice Recording
Record your own voice for any phrase. Your recording plays instead of synthesized speech when the phrase is activated.

Apple Watch Support
Browse categories and speak phrases directly from your wrist — ideal for on-the-go communication.

Caretaker Mode
A dedicated mode for caregivers to manage phrases and categories without disrupting the user's board.

Cloud Sync
