Ever imagined changing the way you sound? We all hear our voices differently to those around us - it sucks, we know! But with Speech King Voice you can sound however you want to sound. Want an American accent? No problem! Worried the girls won’t dig your rolling vowels? This program can help (and maybe you’ll finally get that cute guy or girl). Our program utilizes rapid fire acoustic sound memory to train vocalization and pronunciation of targeted phonetic sound groups. But it’s a lot easier than that. All you have to do is repeat what you hear. You then make a comparison between the original and your own speech. If what you hear is the same or the way you like it, great! I am a native English (American) speaker and thought this app may sharpen my pronunciation, as I take pride-and pleasure-in speaking well and correctly. I'm quite disappointed though. The male models' pronunciation of multiple words - i.e. "could not have" - is pronounced "couldn't of" - which is nowhere near proper grammar and much closer to guttural slang one might overhear in a downtrodden locale. I'm not certain, but I believe that the intent of the development team was to improve pronunciation. If the aim was for "conversational English" they are not too far off center; if proper pronunciation was the goal, then the team fumbled. Again, wonderful idea!
