Want to see exactly how the English speech sounds are made? 

Our App allows you to see speech in action to accelerate learning! Simply select the sound you wish to visualize, then watch stunning x-ray videos accurately show how each sound is formed in the mouth. In addition to unique x-ray images, we also provide incredible 3D animations for each and every sound! 

Created by a Speech Language Pathologist, a subscription to our App includes numerous features designed to stimulate progress:

*Toggle between 3D animations, x-ray images, or standard videos for all sounds in the English phonetic alphabet
*Sounds are organized into 3 sections: consonants, vowels, and the R-sound combinations
*Sounds can be viewed in the phonetic alphabet symbols if preferred

I was so hopeful for this app as I work with the adults with apraxia of speech but I found the X-ray and 3D illustrations to lack detail, especially the 3D illustrations. You can’t see where the tongue should be positioned.

Yawn. Also the supposedly free “try me” phonemes do not work. Offer a lifetime option, and make it a reasonable price while at it. All of this information is available on the web. I am not paying $30 a YEAR to have it organized in one place for me, ever. Outrageous.

Y’all should do a one time buy, otherwise it’s not worth it in the long run for linguistics students and teachers. As a student, I’m more likely to use another resource than this app because of the monthly fee.

This may be a useful app but you can literally do NOTHING until you pay for it. It’s so ridiculous that apps present themselves as ‘free’ and then when you open the app the first thing you get is a screen asking for you to pay. You can’t even test all the features using one phoneme unless you pay.

**Developer response:** A tremendous amount of time, effort, and financial commitment goes into producing a high-quality, premium App. There is no other App in the world that uses x-rays to showcase how sounds are formed and this was a considerable dedication to bring to fruition.

When you open the /k/ phoneme, you will find that all function is unlocked, in order for the user to know exactly what each and every phoneme offers.

You cannot use this app unless you pay for subscription. This is useless unless you are willing to spend money. They don’t even have a sample or free for a certain period of time. USELESS APP.
