I love the option of reading along while listening. However, I’ve found the app to be extremely buggy and frustrating. Here are some of my biggest issues: 1. It will often not synchronize the text with the audio. This especially happens when trying to go back and listen to something again or skip ahead. 2. Randomly it will get stuck on a chapter, playing it over and over again instead of moving on. This happens often in the car when I’m driving and can’t fix it. 3. It doesn’t stop automatically when taking my headphones out so I lose my spot (and then it breaks sync when trying to rewind to my spot). 4. It logs me out every few days. There are others. Just overall, I feel frustrated with the app more often than I feel pleased with it. This app doesn’t have the books that I have been looking for, and any book I press all say they’re unavailable in my country like what. That way just like you can go back into a book and look at what you highlighted. You could also go back into a audiobook and listen to at what you highlighted. ### 1/5 — Trial that doesn’t let you try anything *2025-01-31* Signed up for the 3-day trial that isn’t even 3 days - signed up on Jan 31 and it says I will be charged Feb 2. That’s 2 days not 3. A little deceptive right off the bat. The trial is effectively useless as they don’t give you a book credit or even let you sample an audiobook. I have no idea what the user experience is like while listening to an audiobook on this application, and I’m not spending a dime until. When try to download books , it takes forever or it doesn’t download at all. For the price it should and could be better. They say all you had to do was take a picture of your book and start listening. What they fail to tell you is that you have to buy subscription or coins to do this. They say they have over 100,000 best sellers but I couldn’t find the books I wanted. Lastly, when I tried to take a picture of the book to find in the library that didn’t work either.
