Then when u try to choose a speed limit, it starts calling an invalid phone number. But the speed is inaccurate which makes the tolerance too high or too low. I found myself going 5 over the limit I gave and it didn't alarm because it said I was still under the limit. Also, clicking a limit automatically takes you to your phone app and calls some long invalid number. ### 1/5 — Not suitable for UK use (Version 1.1.0) *2010-08-18* Please note this app is not suitable for UK use, as it has an option to switch between imperial miles and metric kilometres, which sadly also switches between US and European style speed limit signs (in the UK, we have European style signs but we use imperial miles). And this isn't just cosmetic, as US speed limits are for speeds like 25, 35, 45 etc rather than 30, 40, 50 etc. ### 1/5 — Very Slow. *2010-01-30* Slow ### 1/5 — Not at all accurate *2009-11-28* This program is not accurate at all. Sometimes I’m looking off or an 18-wheeler gets between me & the speed limit sign. I always want to be aware of the posted speed limits. This app just did what my own speedometer does! You have to know the speed limit, select the speed limit, and THEN it will tell you if you are going over the speed limit you selected. ### 2/5 — Beeps when you go over. However the app speeds lags miserably behind my speedo or my gps speed indicator. At steady driving speed of 70 kms, it was 4 kms below my gps and speedometer. Seems that the algorithm needs tuning.
