## What is Speed Max Distance Altimeter?

This app offers useful information for sports activities. All you require is your iWatch, which uses its built-in GPS and altimeter.

Information provided:
   -Speed Maximum  -Current speed
   -Distance               -Average Speed
   -Rising                   -Altitude difference
   -Altitude Start       -Altitude End
   -Elapsed time
   
Relative altitude from the altimeter is used to improve accuracy of altitude variations. When the GPS altitude accuracy is good, this is used as a reference.

On the first page, the battery level is visible.The App uses the GPS. The battery level decreases of nearly 5% per hour when the App is started. To avoid a low level battery, the GPS collection is stopped as soon as the battery level is below 25%. The battery symbol color change when the battery level is below 50% and 30%. 
  
It is possible to switch between the metric and imperial units.

It is possible to launch the app touching a complication icon on the watch face

This version improve the processing of invalid altimeter measures. 
The Motion Usage Description has been included.

Occasionally the reference altitude change and wrong relative altitude are sent.  When this problem is detected, the altimeter is no longer used.

### 1.3 — 2024-06-17

In this version, the processing of the first GPS value after the activity start is improved. The accuracy of the distance is improved.

### 1.2 — 2022-03-15

The altimeter imbedded in the watch is used to get the altitude. The altimeter relative altitude is used. When the GPS accuracy is good, the GPS altitude is used to set a reference altitude. The usage of the altimeter improve the accuracy of the altitude when the GPS accuracy is bad.

This version supplies the possibility to start the App touching a complication icon.
