### 5/5 — Angrymartigan

*2011-09-23*

I'm someone who is interested in becoming a physical therapist assistant and have zero knowledge of the human anatomy. I bought a few of these apps (bones and muscles) and after a couple of days just messing around I know the names and whereabouts of more body parts than I thought I ever could have :) If I had to complain about anything I guess I could ask that the app gives me the function or pronunciation of a specific part to save me a trip to google. And also I wish the app wouldn't turn off my music. Those are minor suggestions though. Thanks for this wonderful app.

### 5/5 — Really worth it

*2011-06-12*

I don't know why more individuals haven't rated this app but I guess they are scared to pay $2.99? Don't be. If you're going into the healthcare field then you already know how competitive it is. THIS HELPS! It actually includes more muscles than we learned in our anatomy class. These speed apps are great because they are a quick study tool anytime you are wasting time at a stoplight, in a grocery line, or at the DMV! I got an A in both of my AP classes and I can honestly say that Speed Anatomy has helped me out a great deal! Thanks guys!! :)

### 5/5 — To the rescue...

*2010-06-20*

Much better then staring at a text book. I learned my muscles quick and it made anatomy a breeze. I love it and I'm sure I'll use it all through nursing school !

### 5/5 — I love it

*2010-01-21, version 0*

No more newspapers on the R train. Just all these cool apps. Keep up the good work

### 4/5 — New Game Suggestion

*2009-12-02, version 0*

A similar game for acupuncture points may be interesting!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2009-09-26, version 0*

I agree with slamdaddys review #2... It's really nice but the leg muscles should be more detailed and you guys should add origin/insertion/action for bunch of muscles.. Great for learning muscles!!

### 4/5 — Slamdaddy

*2009-09-20*

Cool app, need a zoomed image though... Could sub occipitals and hip rotators, forearms and lower leg muscles be any smaller?! Origins/insertions, primary function? How bout listing muscle areas instead of the level system so you can see what you want to study instead of guessing...

### 5/5 — nice

### 5/5 — Love it

I bought speed bones as well and love them both.

Would pay for origin/insertion/actions.

### 1/5 — ABSOLUTE GARBAGE

*2011-11-15*

Should be free...it is so basic & unprecise its useless...even the game mode of this fails to operate effectively, the game indicates if player scores 50% or higher you progress but this is not true i cosistently score over 30 of 50 on the first three tests but it DOES NOT progress... Its funny because i bought the app to learn what i do not know yet its "rules" dictate i must know before i can even learn????!!!!??? If only app designer had enough sense to grasp this very basic concept!

### 1/5 — Total disappointment

*2011-10-26*

This app leaves a lot to be desired. I tried their anatomy lite version and thought it was fun so I paid for this one thinking that since it costs money itd be an upgrade. Bad choice. It is no more advanced. You can not pick what part of the body you'd like to be tested over and the resolution of the illustrations is terrible. I purchased a different muscle quiz app 10 minutes later for the same price that offers detailed illustrations a quiz maker, video, control over what part of the body you're studying, and a lot more and I'm on my way to acing my test. This app is a total disappointment and should be free. Do not buy this app.

### 3/5 — Muscles

*2013-04-12, version 1.15*

I think this game is okay. I would NOT follow it on the hand/arm muscles, it is wrong on that. They really should fix that, that is why my score is lower.

### 3/5 — Please please make this iPad compatible.

*2011-10-18*

I have trouble using this app for my anatomy class on my iPhone, so I've been hoping that this app would have an HD version made for the iPad. No such version has been made. I resort to playing with the zoomed-in pixelated version, just because that's better than playing with the iPhone. Please make this iPad compatible.

### 3/5 — Could be improved

*2009-12-05*

I used this and Speed Bones for an anatomy class I am taking and found Speed Bones to be most useful. Origin/Insertion/Action would make this a 5-star app, as that is generally what you will be tested on in school.

### 3/5 — Needs more

*2009-10-26*

Many more muscled that are completely left out. It gets very detailed with the hand and feet but misses many muscles in the upper body. I would also like to see the body vary the position. Maybe a running position or with legs crossed sitting in a chair. It would be a great challenge to have each question with a different picture rotated in. That would make it really hard! Hopefully it gets updated but seems doubtful with few people reviewing this program.

### 4/5 — Great app!

*2011-11-13*

First off this app is awesome! It has helped me big time in my health classes. For me to give this app 5 stars I would like you to include a text database of all the terms in this game and your other speed games. I would just like a bit more material to study in the app

### 4/5 — good app, Extremely low resolution

*2010-12-08, version 1.12*

I have purchased the whole series (vessels MD, Bones MD, Muscles MD, and anatomy). They are all pretty good and will challenge your anatomy skills (about college/undergraduate level).

However, the picture resolution is extremely low. This makes it difficult to locate many parts. And, even after it reveals the answers I think "really, I was suppose to find that". You can barely see it (even highlighted). This is my #1 complaint. There are other minor things which would all be fixed with better pictures.

### 4/5 — Good

*2010-02-28*

I have all 4 apps and love them but I would like to see maybe some Origen/insertion questions on the muscles, some bigger pics to see where I am tapping, and maybe a review section for those people that want to use it as a learning tool more thn as a game. It is great to test ur knowledge and review quick if u have taken a class, but if u haven't it is too much of a guessing game. Hope to see some teaching section added to it... Great job otherwise!

### 4/5 — Great stuff

*2010-01-11*

I downloaded every app from this company and all are helpful to me. I sit on the subway and I mess with this app to and from. I feel as though this particular app is missing information. It just doesn't seem thorough with the muscle groups within the upper torso. Either way I love all 4 apps and hope to see more updates and expansions. Thanks

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love it

*2021-04-11*

Love it, bought it! It’s simple and helpful. I was able to pick which part of the body, you just have to scroll through (someone reviewed they couldn’t...) and for a while it was gone from the App Store and I wasn’t able to download it on my new phone but I’m so glad it’s back!

### 5/5 — Yeah

*2017-05-05*

Practice and remember this is a good un for basics

### 5/5 — Muscle rapid fire

### 5/5 — Amazing!

Fun way to learn muscle anatomy.

### 5/5 — Fantastic App

*2014-07-06*

I downloaded the speed bones app first and I feel exactly the same way about this app. Again, great work by the developer. You have a lifelong customer

### 5/5 — Good

*2013-09-06, version 1.15*

Thanks

### 5/5 — Best ever

*2013-06-25*

Great app will help you learn muscles really fast !!! It uses Netters pictures that are among the best out there ! It helped me a lot!!! Especially for undergrad school and very helpful for Grad school reviews . Best of luck

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-03-08*

2nd best quiz app over muscles. It allows you to grasp a good understanding of the muscles. It hits most of the muscles you will need to know for any class. Drawback it does not go deep into the muscles and the forearm visual part of the quiz could be tweaked to make it more accurate.

### 5/5 — great app

*2012-11-30, version 1.15*

used in A&P 1, better than flash cards

### 5/5 — Great App!!!

*2012-02-28, version 1.13*

I love the way this game is laid out, it really makes sure that you know your stuff
