The translations are bad to the point that I don't always know what they're trying to say, and the game itself looks a bit thrown-together; the "enemies" are ascii art and you fight them on a plain white background. I would like it a whole lot more if there were actual enemies or spellcards, and there were backgrounds at all (you could even have a background for the different places - like one for the Hakurei Shrine, one for Makai, one for Hakugyokuro, etc.). I do like it, however. It's really cute, I love the little pixel art of all the characters, and the remixes are all great to hear for the soundtrack. So basically, the level of your shiki-gami don't matter. When you evolve your shiki-gami, the new evolved shiki-gami moves to the bottom of the list. This causes all the other Shiki-gami to move up one spot to replace the shiki-gami at the top of the list that moved to the bottom. Thing is, the levels don't move. The level at the top of the list stays there, and so does the damage output. This makes evolution useless. If it is an intended mechanic, than it is one I am not a fan of. If not, I just wanted point it out so it could be fixed. Otherwise it's An amazing game and I love it. Keep on doing you game dev. ^^ ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — It's Touhou clicker *2026-01-19* This game is peak idle clicker brain simulation for when you're at work/school with nothing to do. Ascii art is great too, guessing the developer dug through 2chan or some other old message board with a large Touhou following to find these. Goes without saying that navigating Japanese forums is difficult if you cannot read the language so I appreciate the developer translating their game. As another reviewer said, there are plenty of bugs and translation errors but none of it really bothers me. This is a fossil from a simpler era of mobile games we've long surpassed, (Old Twitter and Instagram logos for sharing screenshots were a hit of nostalgia.). This gives the game a enduring charm you don't see very often now when gacha games, supercell-esque trash, match 3 brainrot and ports of PC/old console titles dominate the mobile gaming space. All that to say I can easily look past bugs, translation errors and typos in my respect for a developer who can make a free mobile game and not litter it with microtransactions, advertisements or predatory mechanics. This game has heart, if you like Touhou or miss the early 2010s/late 2000s mobile/browser gaming you should try it out. ### 5/5 — No longer working? *2025-10-16* I’m unable to get Yin-Yang orbs for some reason. This has been happening for a while now and I don’t think the developer is going to fix this since the game hasn’t been updated in almost a decade.
