I haven’t had a time where it’s save each video in my training sessions, I’m lucky if it saves back to back sets. For example, when I log data for incline bench and flat bench it both goes into the same exercise. Additionally, what happened to being able to enter a hard velocity stop by a value in m/s? I can no longer get feedback when my speed drops below the threshold. I used to use that feedback to terminate the set. Update: Vitruve responded to my review to let me know that velocity stop can be entered in velocity zones. The functionality is more or less the same with a small enhancement. However they let me know that the custom exercises is a premium feature and you have to have a Vitruve Teams account, which requires a subscription. Personally, I think this is kind of ridiculous, since I paid $400 for the device already. Now I need I subscription? Efectivamente se sigue conectando el antiguo encoder con la nueva aplicación aunque desde que cambiaron la aplicación se ha vuelto más complejo el conectarla. Me llega a asustar un poco el actualizar la aplicación por si en un futuro podría perder la conexión wi fi del encoder antiguo. ### 5/5 — Eficiencia 100% *2020-04-27, version 2.4.7* Siempre están atentos a cualquier fallo que pueda surgir, y te brindan posibilidades rápidamente. Unos cracks!. Recomiendo 100% el encoder (2.0 en mi caso) como el uso de la app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Imposible de usar *2025-09-12, version 4.30.1* Tengo un encoder que se conecta vía wifi, perfectamente funcional, pero con la pantalla de actualización impidiendo que pueda usar la app. Ni en offline se puede usar, me parece injusto que si mi encoder funciona bien no pueda usarlo con la app, quieren obligarme a cambiar de encoder y en lugar de animarme a comprar otro de la marca, en lo personal, solo me hace pensar en la competencia como una opción más viable ### 1/5 — No vale *2025-09-04, version 4.30.1* La han actualizado y no la puedo usar en mi iPad ### 1/5 — No deja cambiar de ejercicio *2021-02-25, version 4.6.2* Con la nueva actualización si tienes el encoder Speed4lift no te deja cambiar de ejercicios en la sesión de entrenamiento porque no tienes datos al estar conectado al wifi del encooder. Me parece una falta de consideración a los que tenemos el antiguo encoder y hemos apoyado el proyecto es el principio. ### 1/5 — Necesita arreglos *2020-09-01, version 4.1.2* No permite introducir una ecuación que ya se tenga como en la App de Speed4Lifts y tampoco meter el RM, lo hace en función de la velocidad, y no todos tenemos la misma velocidad al levantar el RM, además si se tiene el encoder Speed4Lifts salta el modo blooutoh y conexión interrumpiendo el entrenamiento, por último en algunos ejercicios no se muestran las repes, sino que es cuando le das a finalizar cuando estas se muestran. Otro fallo que tiene la aplicación es que no me deja ver los datos guardados en entrenamientos anteriores, cuando le doy para ver se me cierra la aplicación. ### 2/5 — Ok App but terrible support *2025-01-28* The app does not allow weekly and monthly exports even though the options exist. I was initially concerned that the encoder would feel like a cheap, rushed-to-market throwaway Kickstarter ripoff; these fears were entirely unwarranted. This thing is solid. The mobile app's UX is flawless - intuitive, discoverable, follows the principle-of-least-surprise. I love that I can dump my workouts to CSV with little effort and truly own my data. If you're curious about VBT but feeling a little uncertain as to whether or not the Vitruve delivers on its promises - pull the trigger. You won't regret it. The free version is really reduced in capabilities, unable to create new exercises, list of pre- set exercises is small, even rest timer is disabled. The price for team app is just out of discussion for single user here, even adobe cloud is cheaper and you get some serious software there. The reason I picked this device is accuracy and reasonable price for the unit however competition offers bit more through free app. You can do all none listed exercises in the test all mode but it’s useless for any meaningful tracking of progress as all stuff just gets clustered there. I will revise my review once the app sees some updates and options added for single users, which apparently is work in progress we’ll see. **Developer response:** Hi!
