## What is SpeedClimbingTimer?

SpeedClimbing is a professional timer built for speed climbing. It follows the official IFSC start procedure with two-lane, millisecond-accurate timing, so every attempt is measured and recorded.

KEY FEATURES
· IFSC start sequence: READY -> MARKS (voice) -> SET (two lights) -> CLIMB!, just like a real competition
· Duo Mode: time lanes A and B simultaneously with millisecond precision and automatic winner detection
· Single Mode: pick one climber and stop the clock with a single STOP button, ideal for solo training
· Start tone and per-second ticks keep the climbing rhythm on track
· Voice callout of the results and the winner at the finish
· Climber list: manage athletes, pick names per lane and swap lanes in one tap; renaming a climber keeps the whole history
· Personal history and progress chart for every climber, with lanes A and B side by side and the faster run highlighted
· Video recording: both timers are burned into the top of the video and the clip is saved to your photo library, replayable straight from the history row
· Portrait, large-display layout, easy to read from the wall side or the stands

PRIVACY
The recorded audio is the app's own cues captured internally — no microphone, no ambient sound.
All data (climber list, results, videos) stays on your device. We do not collect or upload any personal information.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 2.3 — 2026-09-23

What's new in v2.3

· New "Ready" toggle under Settings → Time Interval: turn off "After 'At your marks', no longer say 'Ready'" — when on, the app announces "Ready" after "At your marks", then waits the same Delay before the three-set start beeps
· Minor stability and timing refinements

(For reference — v2.2 highlights)
· New Single Mode / Duo Mode switch
· New video recording with both timers burned into the clip (app's own cues, no microphone)
· Climber list, personal history chart, rename-safe IDs, result voice callouts, full English UI

### 2.2 — 2026-09-21

What's new in v2.2

· New Single Mode / Duo Mode switch: solo sessions pick one climber and show a single STOP button
· New video recording: both timers are burned into the top of the video and the clip is saved to your photo library (audio is the app's own cues — no microphone)
· New climber list with one-tap lane selection and lane swapping
· New personal history and progress chart, with lanes A and B side by side, the faster run highlighted, and the video replayable from the same row
· Climbers are now tracked by a stable ID, so renaming one keeps the whole history
· Voice callout of the results and the winner
· Fully English interface and voice announcements
· Fixed camera window overlap, fullscreen crash and first-play black screen on saved videos
