At the right time driver was assigned and was on route. Then …nothing! Booking reverted to “Driver being assigned” No explanation. No way of contacting them. When a driver was eventually assigned and turned up, I had already missed my train! No apology and not obvious on the app how to chase up or complain. ### 5/5 — Great car and driver *2021-05-26, version 719* Usman the driver was very well presented and a complete professional. ### 1/5 — Payment failure several times. *2019-12-02* The app started well but to be honest it’s become a bit of a liability. Three times now it’s failed to take the payment from the card, this means If you don’t have cash you’re knackered. At the start of my last journey the driver asked me where I was going to which made me wary, so I asked him if the booking had come through, he said ‘not yet’ so I asked it the payment would go through ok he said ‘yes’ ......guess what? Sort it out Speedline!! ### 1/5 — Really gone downhill *2019-10-14* The new app is a massive step backwards. Precooked taxis are now always late as they aren’t despatched until the time of the booking. You now get in the cab and the driver doesn’t even know where you’ve booked to go and I had to give my last driver directions the whole way! I don’t expect them to have the ‘knowledge’ but if you’re not confident around MK at least have a sat nav. Really poor now. ### 1/5 — Can’t even search for a train station *2019-09-21* I’ve never felt so frustrated as this in a long time, when trying to pre book my taxi for when I arrive at the end of my train journey, putting in the official name of the train station doesn’t work or typing in the location name and train station shows only businesses not related at all to my search ### 1/5 — Poor call centre *2019-05-23* So I was waiting for my cab which said it’s 2 mins away. 10mins later, I called the number and the guy answered the phone had no phone manners and asked where I made my booking from, as I was just about to tell him he hung up. Driver arrived and the driver didn’t know where my destination was! Sticking to Über ### 1/5 — Joking about customers *2019-05-20* The time of the drivers on app are not accurate at all. It shows you 13 mins, then 15, then 10, then 14, then 8 and so like that. So the time I’ve waited today was 25 minutes! When the app firstly showed 13! Insane! Can’t believe they get away with this. More hassle than it’s worth. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App Charged Me Then Broke *2026-07-12* While doing a booking I got charged but then the booking hadn’t completed, so I selected ‘complete booking’, the app proceeded to crash, and not process the booking. Trying to rebook the journey causes endless errors, reinstalling the app made things worse because I can’t even get past putting in my phone number. ### 1/5 — App problems *2026-05-15, version 742.1.7* Showing my position on app with blue dot but sending taxi to another place with green dot. Also booked again another taxi at 1430 when I had already arrived in London. Finding the bookings shouldn’t be hard as it is on a new app the trip should be showed on screen like othered ### 1/5 — Do NOT use this app! *2024-10-18* The tax company behind this app charges its customers even if the taxi doesn’t show up which occurs regularly. There is no way to recoup your money and the taxi’s are awful. They take the money from the payment method entered even before fulfilling their service. I had to cancel the booking as the driver didn’t show up even after 30 minutes and was still charged.
