Latest version a major improvement, camera now functions on uk roads so giving greater responsiveness and accuracy. Habe alles probiert. Kamera auf S/W, mit Weitwinkel und ohne. Kein Erfolg. Darstellung wäre gut, aber ohne Kamerafunktion nicht viel wert. ### 4/5 — Installation easy Verkehrszeichenerkennung ausbaufähig *2025-04-30* Downloads und Installation der App war einfach gestaltet und erfolgte reibungslos. Die Verkehrszeichenerkennung ist jedoch noch ausbaufähig. Die App scheint vor allem in der Bildschirm Mitte nach Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung zu suchen, so dass bei meiner urbanen Testfahrt doch ein großer Anteil, der Schilder nicht erkannt wurde. Die App erkennt nur runde Schilder. Ein Update zum erkennen von anderen Warnschildern(Achtung) wäre wünschenswert. However, on my 15 Pro Max it misses about half of the speed limit signs and really struggles with the digital motorway overhead signs (in both wide and narrow camera modes). And imho the actual speed needs to be larger, and not red on black as this is difficult to read at a glance. ### 2/5 — Nice Concept, Clean Design, Doesn’t Work *2024-05-31, version 1.93* I gave myself every opportunity to be pleased with this app but didn’t get there. It only detects about one in six to eight signs. It didn’t detect any that were at an odd angle to the edge of the road, and suburban signs in Australia may be a bit smaller than in other countries but they follow the European design. It also didn’t pick up temporary speed reduction signs at roadworks which is a situation where it could be most useful. However, if I am using my phone, then I also use it for navigation such as Waze. I knew at the time the windscreen mount was an issue, but thought my brand new IPhone SE just wasn’t focused. Have now bought a new windscreen mount that doesn’t get in the way of the camera, and bingo, it works so much better. If the reported speed changes as you pass it, it found the sign, if it’s 60-100 meters further on, it’s using its database. Only slightly annoying issue is in road works with reduced speed sign posted. It immediately finds the sign, but soon rejects it for its higher database record. It repeats this several times, but you are drawn to this. Just LOVE the “bell”. So recognisable and you don’t lose interest like you do with warnings on satnav’s. It’s very accurate and can read the variable digital gantry speed limits over smart motorways as well as normal speed limit signs. Absolutely brilliant. At night on streets without street lighting it won’t pick up most signs but the GPS puts the road speed limit in anyway so that doesn’t really matter.
