Worked well very pleased but only four stars because it's starting to slow down and is delayed a few seconds with speed changes but I'm sure an update will take care of that. Please update to 11 so we can keep using this great app. I especially like how clean it is. You need to let it use 'location services' and ensure you have GPS switched on. An app can't fail to use the GPS facility as Apple have it locked down to a simple 'yes' 'no'. I have compared every free speedo app and a few of the best looking paid apps as I need an absolutely accurate speedo for my work as a driving instructor. I have used a recently calibrated vehicle in conjunction with an expensive GPS locator. This app has consistently been +/- 1mph which is the most accurate of all the apps including tomtom nav system. The rest have averaged +/- 3mph with one app reaching an error of 5mph. This app has proved 99.5% accurate ### 3/5 — Works well, but needs landscape mode. *2012-04-28, version 0* This is a simple app that does only one thing, and it does it very well with only one complaint. And that is its lack of a landscape function. I use this mounted to the handle bars of my speedometer-less chopper for long trips, and the phone just gets in the way when mounted in portrait mode, so I have to look at the speed indicator sideways. Very annoying, and it adds a split second to the time it takes to glance at your speed.... which on a motorcycle can be dangerous. It doesn't seem like adding the ability to rotate would be such a big hurdle, but then again, I'm no coder. Even a non-gyro, two finger, "manual" rotation feature would be great. ### 5/5 — Seriously.. *2012-03-10, version 0* Works great, nothing fancy about it just a standard gps based speedometer, with a compass, sometimes takes a few seconds on startup but it's extremely accurate when I'm driving ### 5/5 — Great app! *2011-10-14, version 0* This app is free, and it works. About the only drawback to this app is that it does require a good data connection. It'll work on edge, but will take some time and some luck to acquire a GPS signal. On 3G, this app orientates itself in about 5-15 seconds. Very accurate to my Garmin Nüvi and speedometer in my 4Runner (within 1-2 mph). More importantly, this app actually has come in handy. Used it clock a speed on a boat with no speedometer that a friend was looking at. Wonderful app, only complaint is to GPS acquisition time in Edge areas. ### 5/5 — Brilliant. *2011-09-17* Works absolutely perfectly. Gives the exact speed as the Tom Tom sat nav. Plus it's free, what more do you want? Takes around 20 seconds to lock onto the gps signal. It did exactly what I which was to know what speed I was traveling at in the ocean. All the other apps were 10x the size! It shows my exact speed when a cop was following me so it is 100% accurate. Don't know why others say it doesn't work but it works for me and I'm happy I know the exact speed I'm going and my average speed in total.
