Instead of giving you a words per minute rating on the speed slider it just has 1x, 2x, etc. but doesn’t tell you how fast any of that is. If you want to go above 6x (which seemed like a fairly normal speed) then you have to watch ads , but you only get 30 seconds of higher speed reading and then it pops up asking you to watch more ads. **Developer response:** Thank you for your honest feedback — we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. You’re absolutely right about the speed slider and the lack of clear words-per-minute (WPM) information. Reading at “1x, 2x” without knowing the actual speed isn’t transparent enough, and we understand how that can be frustrating. In the next update, we’ll be adding clear WPM values to the speed slider so you always know exactly how fast you’re reading. We also hear you regarding the ads and the 30-second higher speed limit. Interruptions during reading break focus, and that goes against what SpeedRead+ is designed for.
