SpeedTrace has no servers and no accounts. Your trips, routes and speed history are stored only on your device and in your own iCloud. We don't collect analytics, we don't track you, and we never sell your data. The optional Speed Limit feature is the only thing that touches the network — and only when you turn it on.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. SpeedTrace only uses background location while you're actively recording a trip.
