The interest rate is extremely high and will cost thousands if you don’t pay it back within a month of borrowing. The interest rate can be around 360% which will take forever to pay and cost you 5x more than what you borrowed. These people are predators taking advantage of people going through a hard time. If you can’t pay the balance you borrowed off within a month, you will be worse off. Avoid at all cost! ### 3/5 — Very slow *2020-09-03, version 2005.0.14* App is extremely slow. Here’s why I only gave 4 stars. I changed my bank and when I decided months later to do another loan I couldn’t because they don’t support my new bank. Actually believe the reviews or you get screwed :/ ### 4/5 — My current experience *2019-12-07, version 1907.0.69* Prompt service my only problem is why my pay off amount is different from my loan balance on the app and I just made a payment thru my account and it has not been taken out yet I’m thinking maybe because it’s Saturday after bank hours and may be taken out next business day but it would ideal to have it taken out as soon as you get the Thanks For Your Payment message or maybe I should make payment directly off my card because I saw two options pay thru bank account or MasterCard I have visa so I chose bank account and it has not been deducted...I would recommend speedy cash for those who are really in need and can afford to pay it off the key is to pay off more then what your minimum payment is per statement but I do recommend once you pay it off keep SpeedyCash in your back pocket for serious emergencies ### 1/5 — Ridiculous interest *2019-12-04, version 1907.0.69* Do not and I repeat DO NOT apply or accept a loan from here the interest rate is ridiculous and I received a $500 loan in the end I ended paying about $4000 because fees and what not which is just ridiculous so I am warning anyone to not get a loan. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Awful! Don’t do it *2023-08-07* This is the worst place I have ever done business with. It started off at a $400 loan and now it’s been two years and the loan amount is up to $2000. The lady at the front warned me not to do it unless I absolutely had to. I thought I could quickly pay it off but I was wrong. Then they declined all of my cards and made me get a netspend card just to pay my bills. Thier app and website never work either. It’s like they want you to be late so they can charge you even more fees. If I am ever blessed enough to pay this off I will dorrdash on the side or donate plasma before ever asking for a loan from this place again. ### 1/5 — Hard to do business with *2023-06-09* The app hasn’t worked in months. When I called to get help with login their solution is to turn off wifi and use website to login to pay and manage your account. Then one day it stop working. I can no longer use the app… it was at first taking money off my current card and longer does that now i have no way to update to a new card. This is a lie because nothing can be reviewed in half a second. Second, within 30 seconds of applying, I had 4 text messages from other scam sites, meaning these pieces of crap instantly sell your information. Stay as far away as you can ### 1/5 — TRASH APP *2021-06-23, version 2102.0.34* Literally my first review I’ve ever written in 12+ years of having a smart phone. App is TERRIBLE!! Used to allow me to apply for loans from my phone but no longer allowing me to do that, making payments sometimes, or even allow me to login with FaceID like it used to. I loved the ease of the app when I can apply for my loans within my app I do not understand why you would fix something that was never broken and illuminate what made your service so much easier than the next guys. Yes it is pricy to pay back….you have to read everything before you sign. It tells you how much monthly and so on. I don’t have good credit to get a loan at a bank and if I am really in need of cash. Speedy cash is the place I go to get cash and fast. This is if you really need it type of deal. I do not like to get a loan unless I really, really need it. I am aware of the cost to pay it back and like I said. It does state it clearly how much monthly payments will be, etc….. if you are going to be late on a payment. They will work with you. The customer service reps are really helpful and friendly. As before, if you really need cash for a rainy day, I would recommend speedy cash. ### 5/5 — Exactly as the name *2020-04-05, version 2002.0.21* I applied on a Saturday and had my cash on Sunday. Show me a company that works like that on the weekend. Interest is a b*tch, but what quick loan isn’t? Fine print and I think the most important is the addition they do for you. They show you to the penny how much you’ll owe at the end. If you think better of it within 24 hours, you can rescind the loan. Email them and let them know you would like to rescind the loan and they take it back like it never happened. We know you’re strapped for cash, but weigh your options. Do you want to be that much short next month? Do you even have the funds to pay and eat? It’s rough but if you play it right, you and the company can get what you want. :-) ### 5/5 — Legitimate loan app *2019-11-15, version 1905.0.25* I never write reviews about anything and to be completely honest I was a bit skeptical about this app (or any loan app for that matter) but I really needed some emergency funding so I bit the bullet. The application process took about 5 minutes and I was approved for $255. I only borrowed 100 and didn’t need to pay back until my next payday with an interest of $17! This app is so convenient for legitimate SpeedyCash and the way for you to get in trouble is if you are not responsible! Just make your payments on time or early if you can and dont take out the exact loan you are qualified for! Example: if you qualify for $500 don’t take out $500 if you know you can’t pay it back. Just be responsible (like with any other loan/credit situation) and you should be good to go. This app has saved me so many times and I have nothing but positive things to say! ### 5/5 — Grace period *2019-09-17, version 1905.0.25* Called customer service and was told that if I pay off total within 25 days then no interest would incur. I got a line of credit in Virginia and used 300 of it. Great product if you can pay it off within 25 days. If you can’t pay it off within grace period then I’d advise to think twice before using this product. Good to have in emergencies if you can pay it off in time. If not you could end up in revolving trap. Just make sure you understand your product before doing it.
