## What is Speedy?

Speedy turns your iPhone into a drag-strip timer.

Just drive. Speedy detects your launch by itself, times the run, and saves
the result — no buttons to press while you're accelerating.

WHAT IT MEASURES
• 0–60 mph / 0–100 km/h
• 0–130 mph / 0–200 km/h
• 60–130 mph / 100–200 km/h
• 60 ft, 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile, with trap speed
• Splits every 10 mph (20 km/h)

BUILT FOR ACCURACY
Speedy pairs GPS with your iPhone's accelerometer to pinpoint the exact
instant you launched, instead of waiting for GPS to catch up. 0–60 is
reported with the 1-foot rollout used at real drag strips, so your times
line up with how cars are actually tested.

An honest signal indicator tells you when conditions aren't good enough
to trust a run — no fake numbers.

EVERY RUN KEPT
• Results saved automatically on your phone
• Map and speed trace for each run
• Altitude, temperature and density altitude recorded alongside
• Share your best times to the leaderboard

YOUR UNITS
mph or km/h · °F or °C · feet or metres

### 5/5 — Wszystko czego trzeba

*2025-02-02, version 1.1.7*

Wyniki powtarzalne więc działa bardzo dobrze

### 3/5 — No options?

*2024-07-22*

There’s no 0-30????

**Developer response:** We have not added that time, because using phone GPS results won’t be much accurate for that interval, so it won’t make much sense.

### 2/5 — Slow

*2021-02-04*

My car’s 0-60 is around 5 seconds (this has been proven by multiple timers) but the app is about a second slow and around 1.5-2 seconds slow on a quarter mile

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for trying out the app. Don't forget that iOS device GPS refresh rate is each second so there will be of course some delay compared to external GPS devices.

### 1/5 — Terrible time delay and inaccurate results

*2020-10-12*

Download the app for fun but after trying countless runs to 60 the app either doesn’t register the speed to 60, doesn’t register acceleration at all, or is so delayed it is 5-6 seconds off. Registered anywhere from 10-12 seconds to 60 with my Audi S4 (which is way off considering new tires, mods, pretty much perfect conditions). It’s a good concept but just not even remotely accurate. I could deal with a 20% delay. Even up to a full second. But it’s just not worth it. Granted it’s a buck. Grand scheme of things not a big deal.

**Developer response:** Hi, we sorry to hear about your horrible experience, please make sure your phone is mounted to windshield, has good GPS signal. Do not hesitate to contact our tech support team. We will gladly assist you

### 2/5 — Works but slow new app is broken

*2020-02-24*

I tried using app after a while and it requires login but no way to reset password, app is uses less now...

**Developer response:** Hello. Just create a new account or contact customer support to reset your password

### 1/5 — Help!

*2019-12-28*

At first, how to create an account?
anyway an error is displayed!!

**Developer response:** Please try our latest version

### 2/5 — Works but updates and reads too slowly

*2019-12-23*

My Tesla Model 3 is rated as a 4.4 sec 0-60 car and its ready 12 seconds. Also I slowed down at 101 mph yet the app only measures me at 93 mph. I had full GPS bars.

I think this is because of the limitation of my iphone Xr GPS component. Just not equipped for fast acceleration.

Since this is free and requires registration. It seems that we are the product here.

### 1/5 — Very slow to react

*2019-11-07*

Not good for me I get to 60mph and app is still counting!

**Developer response:** Hello
Please make sure you have good GPS signal
Don't forget that iOS device GPS refresh rate is each second so there will be of course some delay compared to external GPS devices.

### 1/5 — Requires an account

*2019-10-16*

Not sure why an app that has no reason for an account asks me to create one. Immediately uninstalled.

**Developer response:** Try our latest release, account is no longer mandatory to measure, only if you would like to save the results

### 3/5 — Can’t get it to stay on 0 long enough to start

*2019-08-08*

Not sure why but I can’t get it to stay on 0 it bounces between .3 and .6

**Developer response:** Hello
Make sure your phone is not moving

### 1.2.5 — 2026-09-04

Settings, rebuilt
• New card layout: your profile, garage, units and links, all easier to scan
• Units, feedback links and version live exactly where you expect them

### 1.2.4 — 2026-09-02

Rebuilt account and leaderboard

• New sign in and create account screens. No more cramped pop-ups: clear fields, a password you can reveal, and errors explained on the page instead of in an alert.

• Garage. Enter a car once — year, make, model, mods — and pick it when you publish. Makes come with logos and a searchable list.
• Every run is now saved on this phone automatically, with no account and no connection needed. Your times are in My Times the moment a test ends.

• Publish straight from the performance report, and choose exactly which splits go on the leaderboard.
• Reports show what measured the run
