One thing that can be improved is the AI feedback, ai feedback on a recorded voice is really slow. I also love that they have a variety of exercise lengths so that you can do quick warm ups as well as longer lessons! ### 3/5 — Needs Improvements *2025-09-28* Improvements: Needs to have an option to import existing video and audio files to analyze. ### 1/5 — Mind the end of trial period *2025-09-25* This is not much about the content of the application, but more about their charging and refunding policy. I downloaded Speeko by trusting end of trial reminder which I believed was promised during the subscription.. As soon as they charged me for the whole year subscription of £90, I asked for the cancellation and refund through Apple , explaining I had no time to try or use the application at the exact hour of their charging. However, my refund request was rejected with the explanation that it’s not within the policy. I believe no one should charge anyone who has not received their services and I don’t believe an application with this policy will survive long. ### 1/5 — Crooks!! *2025-09-05* I tried the "Free Trial" and canceled the first day because it was not what I was looking for. The monthly subscription does not include a free trial. This is noted on the checkout screen, but I completely understand how that could be missed. It records you saying basic things and then you have to critique yourself but you can do that with your camera. There is not really much coaching either. You basically have to teach yourself which defeats the purpose of paying all this money. Can’t refund and get my 60 bucks back either There are better options out there. Optimizations is trash it will drain your battery in no time. I’m looking for a quick 10 minute a day skill builder, and end up spending all of my time trying yo tap through the “theory” content without getting to put it into practice. I regret the subscription. ### 1/5 — Don't download *2025-12-09, version 5.0.3* This app is not worth it and makes you believe you are signing up for a weekly subscription but then will charge your card for a yearly amount. Over the years, it has become one of my go-to tools for practicing presentations, improving my pacing, reducing filler words, and building more confidence when speaking. I really like that Speeko goes beyond simply recording you. The feedback, exercises, courses, and AI-powered practice conversations give you practical ways to work on specific communication skills. I’ve used what I’ve learned for technical presentations, community events, networking, and everyday conversations at work. I’m still a work in progress, but Speeko has definitely helped me become a more thoughtful and confident communicator. If public speaking or communicating your ideas more clearly is something you want to improve, I highly recommend it ### 5/5 — Wonderful *2026-05-24, version 5.2.7* I really like this app. I try to do 2 minutes on a random prompt every day. The convo section is also great. One minor feature I wish was there: in addition to the option of manually adding prompts to the interview setting, I wish we could do like a 5 or 10-question random shuffle, much like a real interview would be, where the interviewee is forced to be fast on his feet for a series of questions. ### 5/5 — Picks up filler words! *2026-05-01* Useful picking up my filler words (e.g., um, uh). A Game Changer for all Public Speakers *2026-04-10* I discovered the Speeko app back in 2019, just after it launched, and I’ve been using it ever since to practice and record my Toastmasters speeches, presentations, and even comedy bits. One of the hardest parts of becoming a better speaker is simply getting enough practice—and Speeko makes that easy. I use it to record speeches, track my progress, and work on things like pacing. I tend to talk too fast when I’m excited or nervous, and the AI feedback has been a game changer for helping me slow down and improve my delivery. They’ve also created something I think is absolutely genius called “Talko Tuesdays”—a weekly 45-minute live session where users can join in and practice impromptu speaking together. It gives you a safe place to practice, builds a sense of community, and even lets you experience a bit of their live coaching style. For anyone who’s ever struggled with impromptu speaking (hello, Toastmasters Table Topics!), this is incredibly helpful. Recently I also tried one of Speeko’s live coaching sessions while preparing for a speech contest, and it was a total game changer. My coach, Jen, gave thoughtful, practical feedback that helped me refine my delivery in ways I hadn’t considered. The session was absolutely worth it—and the improvements helped me advance to the next level of the contest. I sound better and feel more confident. I previously done toastmasters, speech coach, speech therapy, and a udemy class. they all helped me and improve my ability to speak along with my confidence, but this really gave me the techniques for un blending my words. My family is from the south so every word gets shortened.
