I don’t understand how it’s possible to make such a lousy app in 2025. I have every type of notification enabled, yet they never—absolutely never—arrive. It keeps logging me out all the time. You can’t even sync all your sessions with your calendar: you can only add them one by one, and only from the registration email, and only through a native mail client. I’ve already missed two sessions because I forgot to add them to my calendar.

Developers, please remove this childish relic from 2010 from the App Store.

I have been studying German from scratch for more than a year with Duolingo and I made more progress in two months with Spexx. I have access to the app thanks to my University. I love the diversity of exercises and the fact that there are short grammatical explanations. There are plenty of other resources as well plus the feature of saving words to repeat them later on as flash cards. I feel that I am making progress
