Spelbart uses local weather sources and lets you compare forecasts. Precipitation radar and the lightning map are available in Sweden. Free. No account. No ads. No tracking. Your saved rounds and results stay on your device. When you request weather for your current location, approximate coordinates are sent to the selected weather provider to fetch the forecast. Weather data from SMHI, MET Norway/yr, DMI, FMI and Apple Weather. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.7 — 2026-08-10 Compare the weather sources for your booked round. NEW • See SMHI, yr.no and Apple Weather side by side for a booked round at a Swedish course, with round rating, temperature, wind and precipitation. • Tap a source to see its full forecast for that round. Your usual source setting is left untouched. IMPROVED • Best tee times now refreshes the day's times once a more detailed forecast has arrived. • UV index is now shown for days further ahead, not just the next 24 hours. • Faster and leaner weather fetching, the app now loads the same forecast once instead of several times. FIXED • The outcome notification now opens the played round's actual weather, saved forecast and golf result. Previously an expired course forecast could appear. • Cancelled updates can no longer overwrite a newer forecast, and a temporary network failure no longer clears the comparison. • The morning notification is no longer delivered after an early round starts. If it collides with the two-hour reminder you only get the one closest to the start, and the times hold on the days the clocks change. • Start times that have already passed can no longer be added from Best tee times. • The confirmation after adding a round always appears, including when you came from the course view. • The share button no longer stays stuck loading if the round card could not be created. • Correct translations throughout the round details. ### 1.6 — 2026-07-16 Plan and follow up your rounds! A new chart compares the measured weather score with your golf points, using 36 points as the baseline for playing to handicap. • Open the course's official booking directly from the app when a verified link is available. • Explore more tee times for a selected day, even when the best suggested window does not suit you or cannot be booked. IMPROVED • A less crowded Home screen: Current conditions, Plan your rounds and Favourites can each be collapsed. • The results chart gives most space to the common 25 to 45 point range, while still showing exceptional results up to 50+ and the full weather score from 0 to 100. • After five recorded results, Statistics shows how you play in good, fair and tougher golf weather. • A clearer route to booking and more choices around the day's recommended tee time. • After adding a round, Your times opens directly and clearly highlights the new round. • Best tee times opens faster and calculates without blocking the presentation. • Clearer detail navigation: the top-left arrow closes a sheet or moves back one level.
