If you’re looking to ace your next spelling test or just want to improve your spelling, Spell It is here to help you do just that. Add the words from this week’s homework, and we’ll turn them into practice you’ll actually finish. Whether you’re a student working through a weekly spelling list or a parent helping with homework at the kitchen table, Spell It works with the words you already need to learn — at any grade level. The challenges we currently have are as follows: • Spelling Test Each of your spelling words is pronounced just like a standard spelling test. Enter each word from your spelling list one by one until you’ve spelled all the words. • Flashcards Flip through your spelling list one word at a time to reveal each definition, then mark whether you got it right. A quick, low-pressure way to review before test day. • Fill in the blank Each of your spelling words has a letter missing. You must fill in the blank for each of your spelling words. • Word Scramble We scrambled all the words in your spelling list. Rearrange the letters back into the correct order. • Word Search Spell It places words from your spelling list into your very own word search. Find every word in the word bank to complete the puzzle. Spell It allows you to add as many words to as many lists as you want — keep a separate list for every week or every subject. After you complete each challenge or quiz, you’ll see your results. You can even keep track of your progress and see the total time spent practicing each spelling list. Practice a few minutes a night instead of cramming the morning of the test. I hope more kids like my daughter can learn how to handle their ADHD in dyslexia. And she’s in fourth grade so this helps a lot with all her spelling words so thank you for creating this app. ### 3/5 — Okay. Miss-pronounces and lacks key technologies. *2026-08-15, version 2026.1* I would love to give this app 5 stars, but I won’t due to miss-pronunciation and the lack of spellcheck. The app miss-pronounces words with a robotic tone. Test the word “anecdotally,” and you’ll hear a pronunciation that fails to sound recognizable. This crucial flaw may be relying on old speech-to-text technology, please upgrade it. On iPhone, when typing a word incorrectly, misspelled words are underlined red. When typing words into this app, misspelled words do not get underlined red, leading to learning incorrect spelling. This is a major issue. Please allow autocorrect and spellcheck when adding words, but disable it when being quizzed. Keep in mind, this app should continue to run offline as it currently does. I will edit my review once these features are addressed. Thank you for the work thus far.
