Miss-pronounces and lacks key technologies. *2026-08-15* I would love to give this app 5 stars, but I won’t due to miss-pronunciation and the lack of spellcheck. The app miss-pronounces words with a robotic tone. Test the word “anecdotally,” and you’ll hear a pronunciation that fails to sound recognizable. This crucial flaw may be relying on old speech-to-text technology, please upgrade it. On iPhone, when typing a word incorrectly, misspelled words are underlined red. When typing words into this app, misspelled words do not get underlined red, leading to learning incorrect spelling. This is a major issue. Please allow autocorrect and spellcheck when adding words, but disable it when being quizzed. Keep in mind, this app should continue to run offline as it currently does. I will edit my review once these features are addressed. Thank you for the work thus far. I just also think the scrambled ones are really hard and yeah, you should put some more activities or some music. Just something to make it funner so people can actually want to do it, but I also love the icon of the app. that’s why I give it three stars. ### 5/5 — Game changer for studying *2026-02-19* I don’t think I’ve left reviews on apps but this was a game changer for homework and studying. My daughter is in second grade and she gets 20 words to study each week for spelling test. Writing them out 3 times every night was not productive and definitely a drag for her. I love this app gives you options with spelling list. Word search, missing letter and the big one the flash cards with the pronunciation! Sometimes she forgets a word and is still navigating reading! Recommend for parents who want learning to be more fun and effective . We downloaded this app & kiddo entered his list. He chose “word scramble”. The very first word provided… “niggre”. Kiddo locks eyes on me and asks “why would this have a swear word?” Doing my best to process rapidly, I double checked his list to see if there was an error… nope his word was “ginger” spelled correctly. Our spelling lesson turned into an advocacy lesson as I showed him how to contact the developer or support… we entered in all the info and screenshots… only to receive “oops something went wrong”. No matter what we tried to change, we were unable to submit. I hope more kids like my daughter can learn how to handle their ADHD in dyslexia.
