This could have been good, but the awkwardness of the controls make it extremely frustrating. The figure you control a kind of dinosaur bird moves clumsily and you end up hitting the wrong letter and failing.  There is also a fire breathing dragon/dinosaur that shoots fireballs at you, which only makes the game harder. My daughter, who has a language delay has played this a few times and only got 3 words in before hitting the wrong letters and having to start again.  This is a fail, Ms Rigg!

I use Jolly Phonics with my students, and with the addition of the ability to switch between accents, have found this app to provide wonderful sounds practice for my kindergartners! I recommend this app for early readers, especially those using Jolly Phonics.
