The "look up" used to work great. It stopped working over a year ago. Finally an update after I had given up on ever getting one. BUT, "look up" still doesn't work. Try entering "feremone" for pheromone. A dictionary won't give you the spelling but this app will. I’m excited to see an app not only similar to this “other” app, but better!!! Now it is in fact connected to wikipedia, so it will need online access, BUT it does what it’s supposed to do. But do to the privacy policy Apple put in place a year ago, making it to where every developer have a policy. It seems this developer didn’t want to deal with it and left. I work with students with reading difficulties and we loved the spellcheck app for both checking spelling but also finding the definition and pronunciation of the word. It is important for them to be able to click on the pronunciation because of they are reading difficulty. They need to be able to here to make sure that’s the word. It no longer goes to that when we click on the word.Please put that back into the app! This has become a tool my students use but we can currently no longer use it as it is now.
