## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It’s okay but..

*2022-03-18*

It’s okay but if you don’t want to pay for it your child only gets 20 things to do on this game

**Developer response:** Thanks for appreciating how difficult it is to make such an app. I guess people don’t deserve to earn a source of livelihood…

### 2/5 — Paying

*2026-06-15*

I don’t like how we have to pay for everything like we can for some things but not everything you can only do like 5 words everyday, and it’s supposed to improve spelling but how are u supposed to do that when you barley practice!😕

### 3/5 — ok

*2026-04-10*

it was very good at the beginning but u have to pay a trial and i don’t think it that worth it

### 3/5 — Good but some glitches

*2024-05-20*

While the content of the App is great, it does have a few glitches. One of the activities has students reading a word and answering whether the vowel sound is “long” or “short”; however, the tops of the letters are cut off. So, for example, it’s impossible to tell the difference between an “h” and an “n”, or a “t” or an “f”. Another issue is with the voice over - which often has such an echo that it’s impossible to hear the spelling word clearly the first time. Luckily, the echo goes away when the word is repeated. For the price, I would expect that the developer would be on top of these defects and quickly clean them up.

### 5/5 — Great spelling tool for quarantine

*2020-04-09*

I’m a mom and just had a blast doing a lesson with my son. He already learned a few words. The design is awesome. It’s super easy to use, and really focused on learning a lot quickly. The adaptive practice is really cool too. It helped my son really retain what he learned.

### 5/5 — Best spelling app for stay at home

*2020-04-02*

This is app is beautiful, simple, and very effective. It teaches spelling as well as vocabulary. My 4th grader has learned a lot already. I recommend it to any parent, tutor, or teacher.
