I bought this app looking for a spelling program for my son who is doing grade for spelling. The app shows spelling program as an example. When I bought it I realized I have to create the board and the spelling program and just use the apps technology. I am looking for a spelling App that is ready made. Unless you want to create your own lesson programs, don’t waste your money on this app.

Very non-intuitive.  My wife bought this for our son, was very animated in describing how difficult this was to use. Thought she was overreacting so I tried it tried it out myself. It's bad.

I will be deleting this app once I am finished with this review. I was forced to rate that app without any way to rate it later.  I had to stop working with my child to rate the app. No thank you.

I have twins and we used this app for their school spelling lists last year. It was already a lot of trouble adding the custom list, finding a photo, recording every other word because the app didn’t have recordings for all words, but now, I’m twice as disappointed. 
I re-installed the app on both kids’ iPads to assist with school spelling lists and it works fine on one iPad, but on the other it is virtually useless. Words can be added to the board, but pictures cannot be loaded from any source, and the voice recording isn’t recording anything.

Not a bad app, but could be improved:
* Provide an option to hear (or read) the word used in context. Needed to distinguish between homophones.
* Hint option (lightbulb icon) should show just the next letter of the word being spelled, instead of the entire word.

This would get 5 stars for the learning games if it wasn't for the disturbing images when entering words. For example the suggested image for 'disease' was a penis covered in warts. Clearly not a suitable image for a child!!!!!

I like this game a lot when I am just sitting around the only problem you have is when you try to use a symbol in between letters in a word it doesn’t work. Other that it’s great.

As a classroom teacher, I found this to be very helpful. There are different games available and word lists so I can have different students work on different lists and games. Also, my own children were intrigued by the games. My oldest being in middle school found it challenging to play. Great additional support to spelling and recognizing those sight words.
