## What is Spelling Bee Word Generator?

Spelling Bee Word Generator finds every possible answer for the daily
letter-hive puzzle — enter today's seven letters, and instantly see every
valid word, every pangram, and your score, ranked and grouped by length.

Spelling Bee is still the heart of the app, but v2.0 adds four more
solvers for the word games you already play:

• Word Guess — mark each guess gray, yellow, or green and get every word
  that still fits your constraints.
• Crossword — fill in the letters you know, use "?" for the blanks, and
  find every word that matches the pattern.
• Letter Tiles — enter your rack (blanks included) and an optional board
  letter to play through, and get every valid word ranked by point value.
• Anagrams — unscramble any set of letters into exact anagrams and every
  smaller word hiding inside them.

In short: it works with popular daily word-guess and tile games, not just
the honeycomb puzzle.

• One tap from letters to answers — no manual list-checking.
• Every result is tap-to-define, using Apple's built-in dictionary first.
• Runs entirely on your device. No account, no sign-up, no ads.
• Universal app — a full iPad layout, not just a stretched phone screen.

Privacy: Spelling Bee Word Generator does not collect any data. The only
network request the app ever makes is an optional, on-demand dictionary
lookup for a word you tap, sent only if Apple's own offline dictionary
doesn't already have that word.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-09-03

This update fixes one bug on iPad:

• Tapping a solver in the sidebar — Word Guess, Crossword, Letter Tiles or
  Anagrams — now opens it. In 2.0 the sidebar didn't respond and the app
  stayed on Spelling Bee.

Nothing changes on iPhone. As always: no account, no ads, and nothing you
type leaves your device.

### 2.0 — 2026-08-30

Spelling Bee Word Generator just grew into a five-in-one word toolkit —
and got a lot more accurate along the way.

New:
• Four new solvers — Word Guess, Crossword, Letter Tiles, and Anagrams —
  join Spelling Bee, so this is now your one app for the word games you
  play every day.
• A redesigned interface, top to bottom, with a new Home screen and a
  refreshed look for every solver.
• Full iPad support with a proper split-view layout — no more stretched
  phone screen.

Fixed:
• A word-list bug from v1.0 has been corrected. Thousands of legitimate
  words that used to come up empty now show up correctly in your Spelling
  Bee results.

As always: no account, no ads, and nothing you type ever leaves your
device except an optional, on-demand dictionary lookup when you tap a
word for its definition.
