### 2/5 — Dumb

*2020-03-25, version 4.0.0*

It’s not good to easy to

### 4/5 — Great

*2018-09-01*

This is a great app for 5 yr olds. My daughter loves this game. The only thing I wish was different is, I wish as you pass the levels the words get harder and harder. This game is amazing!😁

### 3/5 — I agree with the teachers

*2016-05-31*

But I have another caviote. The "home" button is positioned in a place that is too easy to accidentally brush it and it closes out the word that was being worked on. Better placement (like in the upper corner perhaps) would be helpful.

### 2/5 — Good app but

*2016-05-03, version 3.1.0*

Would like this app to use lower case letters rather than all capitals with no option to change to lower case letters. Everything else is good.

### 2/5 — Spelling bug

*2016-01-27*

This is just OK. I would like to have the option of lower case letters since you do not write in all upper case when teaching young children how to read. The Montessori reading apps. Are much better and more interactive with consonants in different colors than vowels, and.. Letters are in lower case.

### 3/5 — Just ok

*2016-01-21, version 3.1.0*

Too easy for 1st grader. Repetitive words. Add double tap when spelling in order would make it easier and less sluggish.

### 3/5 — Average

*2015-12-26*

I agree with previous reviews regarding ability to repeat a word. Another upgrade needs to be: only allow the letters to lock in to place in order. My daughter learned quickly that she could just drag a letter over all the spaces and it would lock in to one of them.

### 3/5 — Pretty good, but...

*2015-10-31*

My son loves playing this game, but the child's voice that says the word sometimes is not very clear, and sometimes even mispronounces words. Also, I don't think there is a way to repeat the word if you didn't understand what it said. Other than those things, it's pretty good.

### 4/5 — Extra letter

*2015-10-14*

Very nice, but I only wish it had an extra vowel so it can make them think a little bit more.

### 3/5 — I agree with Gater Girl

*2015-06-22*

Also as another teacher.....good for those who already know phonemes ...and her suggestions for improvements would be certainly make the game better....I would only add I would like to see the letters written in lower case instead of capital.

### 2/5 — Spelling

*2015-05-28, version 3.1.0*

Would be better if it would repeat the word and if the letters were in lower case. Children should learn how to read and in lower case letters not upper case. We do not read or write that way!!

### 3/5 — Good for those who know phonemes

*2015-03-09*

As a kindergarten teacher, I was looking for a way to integrate technology with my reading centers. This is good for my kids that already know their letter sounds, but for my lower kids who need extra phonics help, this isn't good for them. If the letter tiles would say it's phoneme when you clicked on it, that would be a great improvement! And a way to make it perfect would be to add the phonemes, and have the letters blend audibly upon word completion before reading the word fluently

### 3/5 — Just okay

*2015-03-06, version 3.1.0*

There are just enough options in the free version, it is however blurry and you can't repeat the words for kids to sound out.

### 2/5 — Nice selection of words but no options

*2014-01-02, version 2.0.0*

No option to turn of background noise/music.

No option to see the letters greyed out to teach spelling.

Also, when the word is correctly spelt, there is nothing to tell the child they have done so!!!

### 2/5 — Awesome Learning Tool... But...

*2013-12-12*

My son was doing really well with this app! There were a couple of things, though, that I wish we're different.
1. I wish it would automatically advance to the next word once you correctly spelled the current word. And possibly have like confetti raining down. Kids like praise!
2. I think it'd be great if when the kids are trying to spell the word, as you pick up the letter it'd make the sound of that letter so that kids become familiar with the way each individual letter sounds. ALSO, if after they spelled the word it'd say the word again, to solidify that word to memory!
3. My son had a hard time understanding the kids pronouncing the words.

### 2/5 — Hi

*2013-10-09, version 2.0.0*
