Words are cut off, said wrong, and don’t play. Definitions and other help doesn’t work half of the time, because I tried to use the definitions just to know what word it was asking! I can get past the mispronunciation on some words but what I can’t get last is that they want $50 a year for an app that will not play the next word during the challenge. During the challenge it will go to the next word however, regardless of how many times I press the play button the word will not play. The timer will run out and will end the challenge and I have to start the level over. Remind you, I am playing during the 3 day free trial. I would have invested the $50 yearly fee but I will not because it’s too faulty. Bummer because this is the exact type of app I’ve been looking for. No multiple choice, just raw typing that gets etched in your mind. Basically defeats the whole purpose of the app for me if I have to pay to get the spelling ### 1/5 — Audio messes up frequently. *2026-07-25* I was testing this app out before letting my son try it, I got through level 1 okay, but level 2 had a spoken “result” or “resolve” it was said so quickly I didn’t catch it, I tried result, got it wrong and restarted the level, tried it again as resolve when it came back around and got it wrong again. I finally hit the replay audio button and it was spoken as “resultSSS” so the initial audio was cut off. THEN, on the same level 2, the word “GORP” was in there, defined as trail mix with nuts and raisins… I can safely say I have never heard the word gorp in my life. Also, not being able to turn the bell chime audio off after each correct answer is VERY annoying and I was going to delete the app anyway because of that before I had these issues. Combining words of different difficulties into the same level is also annoying. Town and bingo combined with salamander?!
