## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not fully customizable

*2014-09-24, version 1.0*

Really disappointed that you can't fully customize it to your child's school spelling list. I purchased the customizable list, however it's limited to the words they provide. Really disappointed, this would have been awesome otherwise.

### 2/5 — Spelling words match

*2016-12-13, version 2.0*

Wouldn't allow to go to the home setting. And the tiles didn't open when pressed. Animation was very cute but characters should been a reward by coming across the bridge. Disappointing

### 3/5 — Great ap BUT...

*2014-09-29, version 1.0*

The voice is not working even when turned on. I need it to speak the words please. Need this fixed for my student!

### 4/5 — Fun little app

*2012-12-07, version 1.0*

Will be helpful when my kids start learning to read more. As it is, they like looking at the app. It is colorful enough to keep their attention.

### 4/5 — Cflores-slt

*2012-11-27, version 1.0*

Great for site words. My daughter loves it.

### 4/5 — Paying attention to details.

*2012-11-25, version 1.0*

This game improves attention to details. It is good for helping my child look at all of the letters of a word, not just the first and last letter.
It is fun and holds his attention. Thanks for the cursive option, also.

### 4/5 — Great App

*2012-11-21, version 1.0*

This app builds upon the classic matching game and incorporates sight words. Children learn to recognize sight words and are given the opportunity to pratice turn taking when played with two players. Overall this is a fun and educational game.

### 4/5 — Spelling Words Cards Matching Game

*2012-11-17*

My son enjoyed playing this game with me... it's a great game for improving his reading skills, social skills, and turn taking... These are task we are working on.. There are a few things I would like to see added..

1) child, male and adult male voice added..
2) the ability to add your own words...
3) the ability to record using your own voice..

### 4/5 — Good sight word practice

*2012-11-10, version 1.0*

The more exposure and opportunity to see and hear sight words the better. This app is simple but still motivating.

### 4/5 — Good App

*2012-11-08, version 1.0*

### 5/5 — great customer support

I had a sound issue with this app: apparently there was no sound coming from the app. I contacted the developer and within a couple of hours I got a reply with advice on how to adjust the settings of my device. THANKS!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2012-11-17, version 1.0*

My daughter loves this app!

### 5/5 — Yay, a cursive spelling option!

*2012-11-12, version 1.0*

There are few options in the app store for games including cursive writing, so I really appreciate that option being included in this free version. I'm not a huge fan of in-app purchases, but @Reks has done everything right- it is clearly stated in the description and requires a press & hold feature to at least deter kiddos from getting in to the in-app purchases section. The "customizable list" feature as an in-app purchase is especially useful for kids so they can practice words from their school spelling lists, and I love the fact that it has a "results" feature showing what list(s) were practiced, the date, the time spent, and even what size grid was practiced. My kiddos like the "beat the computer" mode the best!

### 5/5 — Great for SLPs

*2012-11-11, version 1.0*

This app is a great tool for speech-language pathologists! I work with Pre-K kids, and I use these for sight words practice (they're not yet to the spelling stage in learning). It's a great app. It's motivating and engaging for the kids, and they LOVE the dinosaurs. I would recommend this app to everyone!

### 5/5 — good app

*2012-11-08, version 1.0*

good app for my handicap son
