Fun game however some words  found in English language are deemed not legitimate words despite using the challenge feature. Would have gotten 5 stars otherwise.

A word as simple as “ensuite” (look it up) is rejected. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me. I have double-checked other mistakes. I don’t think their challenge option is worth a crp.

I love this game. However, when I try to open it to play it after several hours, it won’t open. Just goes back to my phone home screen. I’ve already deleted the game once and downloaded it again and that allowed me to play it again, but then I lose my high scores. Getting frustrated and about ready to delete it forever.

Please do explain how is SIKH a word but then SIKHS is not? I also tried to submit the word IFA, a system of beliefs hailing from West Africa, and my request has been rejected. I ask you to update your dictionary databases. Otherwise, the game is great and very accessible. Thank you for your time! ❤️

Love the game but the help/contact function does not exist. Today a word I wanted to use and which is in the Merriam Webster dictionary was rejected. No way to appeal the decision. Don't expect quality.

Mandatory tutorials are annoying.  There needs to be a way to skip this.  I've played this game before and don't need to do that.

This game can be rather fun for nerdy word sleuths like myself, but the word choice/dictionary options can be incredibly frustrating.  Sometimes I’ll just *try* something if I’m desperate for a move & am shocked that it worked — but the most *annoying* thing is (at least in the puzzle version) that there will be times when say a six-letter word will be denied for being “too short” but then a random three-letter word will work (& even if you can extend that three-letter word to something longer, that will be denied)!!!   I just don’t understand the logic in that at all, & adding to the grumpypants frustration is the fact that there’s no explanation or “rule book” to explain why that is the case. Writing this review is the only option I have! 🙄

I was addicted to this game and loved it but then I was running into issues with it recognizing simple words such as “rosen”,“rescan” and “prepare” - this was even after challenging it and it told me that those were not actual words.  What?!

The game is really great, but the word challenge portion is inaccurate, inadequate and just plain wrong. Words that are words in multiple dictionaries are listed as “not a word”. This is complete nonsense.  What is even more frustrating is that there is no way to tell the developers they are wrong about some words.

Solitaire was getting old. This is a fun game that I enjoy. My only critique is that I’ve noticed they only give one Q X Y W Z and possibly V. I could care less about getting extra points for those letters, I just want to be able to utilize them in multiple words like the Y in gypsy or x in xerox, etc.

the word choice is awful in this game let’s ignore the fact that half the time a name is a word and the other half of the time it’s not the worst offender is acronyms words like laser xray count but any acroyum starting with an X or any sort of file name apperently doesn’t count. there is a system to add extra words to the games dictator but sometimes it will just tell you that a word isn’t a word it makes it pretty frustrating to play

I have a love-hate relationship with this game. It’s fun but nothing kills the vibe faster than being told a real word "isn't a word." Seriously—Merriam-Webster would be rolling its eyes. If you're going to make a word game, how about recognizing actual dictionary entries like "soogee"? It’s frustrating when the game rejects words that are 100% legit.

This game is very boring in different ways for kids and adults. For kids they get bored and frustrated easily and for adults they feel uninspired and bored. This is kind of like a scam because this game is basically the same as all of the other world games I know. I don’t know how this game is a best selling game because it is so boring. I am very sorry to say this but it is the truth. This game is horrible and I feel that even I could design something like this in 5 minutes. This game is a very boring unimaginative.

I do have some ideas to make the game better though:
1. Add some more colourful designs to game-not just orange.
2. Make the game more interesting-or more imaginative 
3. Make the game stand out from all the other word games-try an idea that no one has thought of.

I hope these suggestions help the game and make the game more popular and enjoyable. 🙂

This is a really good game, but when wifi is enabled while using the game, my devices (iPhone/ipad) become very warm to the touch, and the battery is drained extremely quickly. Why this game needs to use so much wifi / power resources is  definitely unusual . Perhaps the code needs updating to more modern standards.

After playing hundreds of times, today all my stats disappeared. Nothing wrong with my iPad…but all my high scores just went away. And it’s saying there’s no iCloud backups to restore despite the fact that I do backups several times per week. 
Super lame.

It’s fun and nice to unwind. But the dictionary is outdated. 

Here’s an example: they said “myc” is not a word. But there’s Mariam dictionary definition of the word. Also, it is a scrabble dictionary word. Here’s a quote: And the Yes, "myc" is a valid Scrabble word. It is worth 10 points in Scrabble. The term is also used in biology, where it is a combining form meaning "fungus

There’s so many reasons that this game is a flop, but one of them is that the words in this game sucks. You can’t reuse a word, which sucks because the games hard. 
Also they should be adding in WAY more words. Like “and” and “I” are obviously words. Some words I use all the time aren’t listed at all! 
Anyways my fingers hurt I’ll follow up later on more hate on this game.
Sorry to the people who enjoys this game and the people who created it!

I use real words and this games says they aren’t and I use a challenge up. Irking! And it’s uselessly hard after you get past 5-7k on puzzle. Like RIDICULOUSLY HARD and all of a sudden no longer takes valid 5-7 letter words but then will accept AIS or QIS. Irking!!

The main issue that the dictionary behind the game contains obsolete words. For example ‘jur’ which is not in use since 1600s. There is no possibility to challenge wrong words within the game and I’ve seen already a few.

Crossword Jamなんかと同様、単語の意味を知る必要はありません。やるべきなのは、つづりの法則の勉強です。長い単語を作らないといけないので、先にing、ed、er、sなど(接頭辞・接尾辞と呼ばれる物)を見付けておいて、その近くに作れる単語あるかな？と探します。積み上がって行くモードでは、高さを揃えておかないと、横向きに単語が作れなくなって死ぬので、縦向きに単語を見付けても、罠だと思って無視する事も重要です。母音ばっかとか、子音ばっかとか、6文字以上の単語しか作れないタイルだらけとか、黒い障壁タイルばかりとか、ガンガン追い詰めてくる瞬間がありますが、死にそうになると、ほぼ必ず助け舟が出て来るので、知らない単語でも作ってみるしかありません。もし単語を覚えたいなら、日常では使わないような、Scrabble用の単語が便利です。zoeae、zooidなんて単語は、Zと母音を消費できる超お役立ちワードですが、日常では使いませんから…。他のレビューの方もおっしゃってますが、ゲーム音を消せないので、音楽聴きながらやる、とかは出来ないです。ちなみに、WordJamなんかとは違って、汚い言葉もハジかれません。

Love playing the various iterations of this game. I do have one bone to pick though. While playing one of the puzzles, the word “zorse” denied as real. Then tell me why it’s been in the dictionary since the 1800s, and I’ve seen one with my own eyes🦓+🐴?
